Site 13 is large with a beautiful view of the Intracoastal. Try to catch a sunrise.

Buck Hall is a hidden gem in the Low Country. Bathroom facilities are dated, but otherwise a great spot close to Charleston.

The is the 2nd time that my husband and I camped at Buck Hall. We love the location with the waterway and great trails. The bathroom needs some attention - the host was there rarely during the 4 nights we stayed. We understand that the park is going to be renovated soon but we hope the campsites are not going to be too close together and hope so many trees are not taken down that it loses its natural charm.

Site was clean and roomy. Bath house was out of the 70's and had issues. Sink was leaking in floor and hot water was luke warm at best. Overall nice place but needs attention.

Nice sites. Good location right in the ICW Easy stop off 17. Washrooms dated and in need of deep cleaning. Excessive lighting on bath house exterior.

Nice place on the IC Waterway. Clean and quiet. Older facility that supposedly will be closed in 2025 for reconstruction.

Great place to unwind! Walking trail is well kept and enjoyable. Campground is small with large sites. We stayed on site 13 which is very long and shaded. We would definitely visit again!

Beautiful small park. Quiet. Great views of intracoastal waterway. Most RV sites are large. Bathhouse needs updating, but not a game changer. There is a boat dock and fishing pier. The Palmetto Trail also begins/ends there.

This small quite campground has large flat level sites. Some have great views of the intercoastal water way and the sweeping savanna over which you can watch beautiful sunrises. The tent camping area is right on the intercoastal waterway. There is a nice trail that is the end of the mountains to sea trail so it goes a long way. The first 5 miles from the park is very pleasant we didn't go any further. The restrooms have one shower each with water that is just warm enough. The restrooms were never cleaned the two weeks we were there and were out of toilet paper about half the time. We never saw a camp host or ranger. The biting insects both mosquitos and biting midges were fierce in the morning and afternoon but you could go out unprotected and only get a couple of bites mid day.

We love this Buck Hall Rec campground as it is small and right along the intercoastal water way. Things to do include visiting the Hampton Plantation and the Red Wolf Reserve. Area restaurants SeeWee Restaurant, McClellenville Diner, TW Graham. Also the Carolina Seafood Market has excellent fresh seafood.

It is difficult to get a site at buck hall and we were told of a woman who voluntarily left a day early, but the host wouldn't let it be used because the woman had paid for a full 2 weeks. I think it should have been made available.

Little slice of woodland paradise. Check-in very organized. Loved the larger lots, giving privacy. Be sure to walk the lovely trails within campground.

Nice location, paved level RV sites with good separation from each other, good power and water. There is a boat launch, picnic area, hiking trail, and on-sight manager.

Great location and host. The sites are not too close to each other and our site looked directly into the ICW. Only issue was the wind!

Great quite campground with waterfront. Seen large pods of dolphins passing thru and even a shark feeding but was to far to tell what type. hiking/biking trail and plenty of raised platforms over wetlands. Seen plenty of slides in the marsh and even heard a big splash and thrash as we walked up but did not get to see what it was. We loved this park we only stayed 2 days because we was passing thru but I wish I had made it longer.
