This is beautiful campground but for the fee should have better shower facilities and hot water at the handbooks. The shower needs totally redone.

Nice small campground. Showers were dated and no heat. Tent camping/parking was not designed for roof top tents but due to vacancies it worked out. Host was very nice and informative. I will be back again. Rumor is that upgrades are planned.

Camp site was clean and well lain out. Campsite Parking was ok but would have been inadequate if all tent sites were being used especially if each campsite had 2 vehicles and a boat. Nice to be able to get a shower and restroom to use. We were thankful to have a nice campground to spend the night and get a good nights rest.

A small and beautiful campground right on the water with ramp access to the water. All of the sites were full with RVs and boats but no one was on them which was sad to see. It felt like the campground was being taken advantage of and being used more as a storage unit for campers big toys. There was 5 tents sites. They were all being used, but unfortunately you couldnt park on the site and not that the parking was far, but It would have been nice to know ahead of time that you couldnt actually park on the site it self.

Great little campground. Nice view of the water. Able to view dolphins and alligators in the morning out in the water.Very level tent camping. Stone and concrete picnic tables.

The location is gorgeous- especially closer to the water. And I like that the sites are spread out from each other so you have plenty of space to yourself. The downside is that there didn't seem to be any quiet hours in effect. Also, the bathrooms are in desperate need of a proper cleaning. It's campsite so no one should expect it to be spotless, but the showers were filthy and really just need a good scrubbing.

Tent camped at Buck Hall while hiking the Swamp Fox Passage of the Palmetto Trail. Beautiful campground right on the intracoastal waterway. Shower has nice warm water (not super hot but very pleasant}. Very quite, RV sites have electric hookups so no need to run generators. Definitely recommend!

The campsite was nice, but the RVs nearby had a full blown party both Friday night and Saturday night. On Friday night they had music playing and a lot of yelling, and profanities being thrown around. They didn't stop until 11PM.On Saturday, they had a legit concert set up. They had guitars, microphones, etc and we're up well after midnight.Overall, it was nice, but the spaces are tight together and way too close if there are people wanting to throw a party while I try to get my 4 year old to sleep.

This place is really a nice setting on the waterway and has beautiful sunrises. We were there in late March and the no-see-ums were starting to get numerous. Dogs barking all the time was a problem and especially one next to us that barked every time we moved around our site. Wish they would have a no dogs policy as they really are beginning to degrade the camping experience in campgrounds.

Awesome place to camp.we hiked the awendaw trail. The awendaw trail is the first 7miles of the palmetto trail. Bring a product called "no-nats" regular mosquito spray isn't very effective against coastal sand nats. If you plan on fishing you'll need salt water lisense.

The campsite and location were fabulous. The mens restroom needed some attention. Mainly only one of the four lights worked. But it was also a little run down. The shower worked, and the water was warm, so it was acceptable.

It was simple camping but the location was wonderful. I even saw dolphins jumping on the intercoastal waterway and lots of snowy egrets across the water. There, however, were quite a few mosquitos. They did have showers for which I was very grateful.
