St Lucie South Campground in Martin County is located just 28 min southeast of Port St. Lucie, FL with an elevation of 20 feet. There are a total of 21 campsites including 8 boat sites. The campground is open all year. 9 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 17 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $35.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean bathrooms. close to many restaurants, grocery stores, interstate and water. Seems perfect to me from my quiet tentsite.

A super little park with a small dock and short finger piers. But once tied up, full electric and water and calm fresh water makes the place a hidden gem!

Extremely clean, well designed COE park. Great location next to the locks with awesome bird watching and boat tracking. OTA TV and T-mobile had strong, clear signals. We had RV site 3, which is directly on the water with it's own patio and plenty of space for our RV and towed-car. This is a small campground but all the campsites have plenty of space and there doesn't appear to be a bad one among them. This campground appears to be very popular with sites hard to reserve, but if I ever get a chance again, I will definitely stay here.

Campground was nice and cozy. Unfortunately, the visitor's center was closed without any chance to visit it and the women's shower was under repairs for several days and there was little to no warning.

Kim and her husband displayed excellent customer service. Expedited checking in and assisted in electrical connection to power pedestal. Enjoyed the adjacent hiking trail.

This was a fantastic experience! We were on our way to Miami for a cruise the following day and decided to camp out the night before. I had went online a couple weeks prior and managed to snag the last available spot for tent camping. Everything I'd found online seemed to indicate there was no electricity at the tent sites, so we were prepared for that. However, when we arrived, we were happy to find that there is indeed electricity at those sites. It was a beautiful location right on the water with a large area for the tent, a covered picnic table, a fire ring with grill rack, and a charcoal grill. Check-in was super easy and took about three minutes. We were able to pull our van right up to the site to unload and then parking was directly across from our site, maybe 50 feet or so. The bathroom is close and very convenient. Shower was a typical campsite shower and had good hot water and was very clean. We were there on a Sunday night and it was very quiet even though the site was completely booked. We only paid $20 for the night and there were no entrance fees or parking fees. This experience has definitely inspired us to look at other COE sites. We will definitely stay here again in the future! Overall, this was a great experience!

We stayed two weeks on our boat. While the boat slips are lacking some features, the park makes up for it. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and it is clear they take pride in the park. We enjoyed getting to know our neighbors, strolling the park (and the adjacent county park) and talking with the RVers. The park is serene, birds singing and fish jumping!

We have stayed at St Lucie South several times and have always found it very well managed. It is a beautiful facility, quiet, yet convenient to Stuart and the coastal areas around it. With only 9 RV sites, it isnt easy to get into, but its worth the effort. The campground hosts are very friendly and attentive.

Impossible to get a reservation so find the night I needed as a true gift. Beautiful location, quiet ight. I didnt use the facities so can speak for them. Glad have been able to stay the one night. Kim was most helpful, thank you.

Easy access, quiet, scenic canal/locks views, paved level sites, very well maintained, and highly affordable. Partial hookups with a dump station. I only stopped for an overnighter but would enjoy a longer stay here in the future, though reservations are difficult to get. All the sites are listed on the website as up to 40, but we had room for our 40 motorhome AND F-150 on the pad, and I noticed that several of the sites would accommodate longer vehicles; you may need to call the office to verify which sites will work for you. The sites along the canal appeared shorter. There are docks, two large parking areas for towed vehicle parking (if needed) and for hooking up, and park benches along the waterfront for unwinding at sunset or watching sunrise with morning coffee.

The ranger MaryBeth was very helpful. The Lockmaster was very rude and uncooperative. For example, he would not answer vhf radio.

Its small and pleasant. Right on the canal that runs clear across Florida from east to west, the sights of fish jumping and boats passing are endlessly entertaining.

Great location (river view). No privacy for tent campers. Restrooms need refurbishing.
