Impossible to get a reservation so find the night I needed as a true gift. Beautiful location, quiet ight. I didnt use the facities so can speak for them. Glad have been able to stay the one night. Kim was most helpful, thank you.

Very nice campground. Only 9 campsites and of course the tent sites. Security at nights is non existence. Traffic all hours of the night heading back to the tent campers. People all hours of the day speeding around the campground. There needs to be a secure locked gate and stop the traffic just meandering thru. We camp here for peace and quiet not to see or hear heavy traffic. NUFF SAID

Very relaxing park. Lock system is interesting and fun to watch. Campsites are nice and well maintained. Every is clean and neat. Good showers.

It was a very small, quiet, and well kept campground. The sites on the water were awesome. There were only 3 rv sites on the water, I wish there were more.
Plenty of room to walk and ride bikes.
Close to shopping and the beach.
The hosts were very informative and helpful.
The bathhouse is old but clean. Only one shower for each gender.

The biggest downside is that it is next to impossible to reserve a space there in the seasonal months, Dec - Apr. And, when I am able to stay there, there is often open spaces, presumably because people have cancelled or just not shown up.It is quiet, peaceful, comfortable, a bit of a distance from town and/or shopping. I would suggest you come fully equipped. Also, there is a dump station but no sewer available at the sites.There is a fair amount of boat traffic, both in the river, going through the locks, camping there, as well as people trailering their boats there and using the boat ramp.

I arrived at Lucie Nov. 26th. I reported the Diverter value (for Hand Held Shower) was not working in the ladies shower to the Host along with the ceiling fan not working. I was told by maintenance man ( who was there to fix a leak in ladies shower on Mon. Nov. 28th) the hand held would be fix on Wed. Nov. 30. I left Lucie on Dec. 10th. Nothing was done to correct this problem in that period of time. Almost 2 weeks. Really!!!

Popular, small campground that is very nice and interesting. We love being near the water and watching boats lock through. You can tour the lock and see the huge machinery that makes it work. Campsites are paved and spacious. There is no sewer hookup but the dump station is functional. The location is great for access to the beaches and there is plenty to see and do in Stuart.

It is next to impossible to get a reservation here and Im aware that some manage to stay here beyond the 14 day limit.That having been said, it is a beautiful, quiet, enjoyable RV site, well cared-for. There is room to expand this place and that would be nice, even if only a few spaces were added. Just wish there was a more equitable way to get a reservation.
