Extremely clean, well designed COE park. Great location next to the locks with awesome bird watching and boat tracking. OTA TV and T-mobile had strong, clear signals. We had RV site 3, which is directly on the water with it's own patio and plenty of space for our RV and towed-car. This is a small campground but all the campsites have plenty of space and there doesn't appear to be a bad one among them. This campground appears to be very popular with sites hard to reserve, but if I ever get a chance again, I will definitely stay here.

A nice quiet park right on the water. There are only nine sites which was actually nice. Site number nine is the largest paved site. The Rangers and other people working here were very nice.

Quiet well kept campground with a relaxing river view. Only spent one night here but really enjoyed it. Cement pad, water & electric, grill and fire pit, covered picnic table. Showers were dated but clean and hot water plentiful.

We love this small campground on the canal. There is a walking trail at the end of the RV/Tent area, you can watch the boats go by, and see them go through the locks. This time, the walkway across the lock gate wasn't available, but there's a nice nature trail on the other side. Don't miss the Corps of Engineers visitors center down at the far end of the lock area!

Location was very good, we had a site on the waterfront. Weve been to many COEs and theyre all beautifully maintained, unfortunately St Lucie south was disappointing. Our site was very weedy and the fencing needed some maintenance. Maybe theyre just short handed here, too bad since the location is nice.

Beautiful setting. Clean and well maintained. Nice hot showers. Nice low dump station for Class B. Convenient fresh water fill station for RVs. Saw alligators swimming. Fun watching how the locks work.

Make it easier to switch campsites based on actual availability. Many reserved sites are empty even though there are very few total sites at this campground. Have a penalty for those who dont cancel before 3 days, and don't show up.

We had site 3 and the view couldnt be better. Staff was warm and welcoming. We will camp here again. Often.

All was excellent, the volunteers were excellent except for one. The volunteer next to the bath house was unpleasant. When I came to the entrance hut, he was using his phone, not a conversation and when he looked up from the phone he ignored me and went back to whatever he was doing.

Very nice RV spot on the canal. Check in was easy, back in was easy. Only stayed one night on our way home, but well worth it.

What a beautiful place! Well kept and clean and in a gorgeous location. Interesting boats to watch moving through the lock, as well! We will be back!

Nice campground. It was VERY hot WHILE WE WERE THERE, unfortunately there is very little shade in this campground. The bathhouse was unbearable, needs at least a fan, AC would be better. Floor never dried due to high humidity and no air flow, very slippery and oppressive heat and moisture. Would return when the weather in Florida is cooler.
