I love the views on the way to the site, the lake and waterfall hikes are a plus too!

Wonderful campground, well spaced spots with trees in between. Camp host was wonderful. Very clean bathrooms. Hike to the falls was easy, good views. Really enjoyed our particular spot, it had lots of space around it for the kids to play in the woods. On the maps it looks like there is a trail next to it so we weren't sure, but it's just a forests service access road which is rarely used. Highly recommend.

We love camping at Chilhowee Campground. We camp there every year for fall break! We love hiking to Benton Falls.

campground was quiet at night (normal activities in the day were not at all disagreeable), bathrooms clean, hot water for showers, plenty of dry wood for fires, lake accessible (went swimming in October)

Restrooms were very clean. Lake was lovely with great swim beach. Several nice trails though very rocky. Bton Falls were less impressive probably due to dry season. We did have three copperheads in the campground over our stay, seems that it is shedding season and they were disoriented.

Nice campground on top of a beautiful mountain surrounded by woods. Doesn't get much better than that! Add clean restrooms/showers and I would say it was perfect!

A wonderful park with so many trials to hike. There was only one glitch upon arriving at the park. Our site was double booked because the other campers used the cash money box at the park and WE rsvp'd through Rec.gov, which guarantees no double booking. The other campers couldn't check to see of our site # was already booked because there was no cell service. This situation needs to be looked into for future people booking.

For a real campground camping experience this is the place to go. Campsites are far enough apart for your personal privacy. Bathhouses are exceptionally clean. I stayed during the middle of the week so there wasn't many people. My friend said the weekends are very busy. The lake was an awesome addition to the trip. Beach "sand" was perfect for hanging out and having a fun day swimming and chilling. This is definitely a better maintained campground for a National Forest run facility.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Chilhowee Campground! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Even the Bathrooms were amazing, so clean!!!!! What really made the trip special was the camp host, Sherry. She was so kind, caring, and genuinely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, she made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. She went over and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. You can tell she truly loves what she does and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great stay.I cant recommend this campground enough beautiful setting, great facilities, and an incredible host. Thank you, Sherry, for making my visit such a memorable one!

Love the rustic, isolated environment; great hiking trails, campsite with plenty of space and separated somewhat from others.

Beautiful campground with a lot of shade. Our site was nice and long, and private. Restrooms were clean. There was only one shower and if the campground were full, that could present a problem.

I booked a site at Chilhowee for my husband to take my 2-year-old son camping and they enjoyed it immensely. The campground is clean and child friendly. An unruly neighbor was dealt with quickly and professionally. They had every opportunity to be safe and have fun!

We had a great time. We had a group of 11 and rented a whole corner basically. Bathrooms were clean and the lake was a nice plus. We did get hit with rain the majority of the stay but it didnt keep us from making last memories. Will be back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
