Nice campground on top of a beautiful mountain surrounded by woods. Doesn't get much better than that! Add clean restrooms/showers and I would say it was perfect!

I loved it here, it was truly off the beaten path with amazing views. This campground is literally on top of a mountain. I wasnt sure what to expect from the pictures but the elevation of the campground is much higher than I would have expected. We spent 4 days here and I dont have a critique. We spent Sunday night there and the park had pretty much cleared out but us. My only recommendation is bring more lights than you think, it was very dark with us being the only ones in the park and admittedly we got a little scared because it was too quiet haha. I didnt have service (T-Mobile) but my husband did (Verizon) just as a heads up.

Such a beautiful campground. The site was very well maintained and loved the setup. The only thing that I think they could do better on is keeping up with the bathrooms more.

Pros: inexpensive, gorgeous views, lots of trails to hike very close to the campsite, not too far from town of you have a 4wd (you can take the shorter gravel road), friendly and helpful camp hostsCons: - Bathrooms! The showers were filled with dead bugs and mold. The water lasts literally 5 seconds each press of the button. Not 30 seconds, 5. - Dump station requires a ~very~ sharp turn to access. FYSA - there is no water hookup. There are wells scattered around.

Great campground and great hosts. There are no shops nearby so just make to carry all the items required for the camping

Nice, quiet campground with clean facilities. Easy access to area amenities. Benton falls is worth the hike.Only complaint is no water hookups. We will go back.

We stayed Sun-Sat the very last week they were open for the season. The views getting there are spectacular. The park hosts were very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The roads are narrow and I imagine would be difficult to navigate for larger rigs but I would go back and stay there without hesitation in the future. Pay attention to the instructions on the website regarding how to get there. The way google maps takes you is a dirt road with a sharp switchback.
