We love camping here because it is quite and I was raised in the area.

Loved the outdoors. Trails and lake access was awesome! One of the best dog friendly parks we've visited. The biggest turn off was the bathrooms which were nasty and terribly neglected. Toilets were clean, but floors were not mopped, bugs and spiders everywhere, and paint peeling off the walls.

This is our favorite camping location even though it takes three hours to get there and there is no water at each site (must use water pump on trailer). But love the campground. The only recommendation I could make is to add more electric sites and secondarily add water to sites.

Hosts were very good. Rangers could have been better, seemed to only care about themselves and not helping others or enforcing rules. Campground not full thru the week only on weekends. Campers for less than a week need not take up desirable sites. Overall a good experience.
