The campground is open all year. 47 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 45 and 85 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 46 sites have electric and water hookups. 6 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

I went to Arkansas for an unplanned getaway. I was driving past the campground and I noticed they had availability . The campground manager was helpful setting up my account and I set up for a night. My dog felts and I had wonderful stayed we scheduled an extra night.

Nice view and quiet. Bathrooms were locked until around 11ish in the morning both days we were there so plan accordingly.

While the campground was generally well kept the bathroom facilities were not. The entire campground has only two bathroom buildings for many sites which is only 8 bathrooms. During our stay they had one building completely shut down and two of the bathrooms in the other building closed and locked leaving only two bathrooms open, one men's and one women's. Each of those rooms have one toilet, one sink and one shower. Needless to say there were many times when you could not get into either. They are also old and were not kept very clean. With so many people using just two bathrooms they probably should have been cleaned hourly!

Was alot of people staying at bathroom and staying in their cars at bathrooms, they would go in bathroom and stay for over and hour, i didnt like going outside after dark,

Beautiful park right on the river's edge. I enjoyed watching the tugs and their barges navigate through the lock. Birds were abundant as flock after flock were migrating through. The traffic on the nearby bridge dissapated as the evening wore on, making for a great camping experience.

Very clean camp sites which are not real close together in most of the campground. Being next to the Arkansas River was really cool, especially since you can watch the lock and dam system as barges come through.

This is a nice park close to the Arkansas River. Our initial sites, as I recall A14 & A15 were MUCH to sloped to put a camper and motorhome on - no way to get level. Visited the office - moved us to C4 & 5 -- which were to close but let us stay 1 nite past the closure date. This site was good. Bathroom & shower facilities good. Fun watching barges go into the locks. Not alot else to do in area - so just hung out by fire in cool afternoons and evenings.

Very nice park, section c is a bit slanted but manageable, be ready for grass spurs, our small dogs could only walk on pavement
