My buddy and I were in a bike packing trip when we stayed here. The showers and restrooms were nice. The sunrise was great over the water. There's a gas station at the entrance of the camp site with food and snacks.

First time staying in the A Section and it was wonderful! Spot A10 was easy to enter and had plenty of space.

Great campsite, clean, well organized, quiet. Plenty of room to play, and right on the river.

Very nice place overall!Sand spurs are very bad and my dog didnt like them at all, so be watchful of them. Next time I will try and get a spot farthest from the dumpster as the flies get pretty bad.

Very nicely kept park with a great view of the river. Our spot (A14) had a slight incline but flattened out on the pad with a slight tilt away from the picnic area (on the trailers left). Water and electric were right by the pad, but allowed plenty of room for our 2 ft. Pullout. The picnic area was large and was concrete with a brick ledge around the perimeter. Very shady. This spot had an electrical junction box at the back behind the pad about 7 or 8 ft, but allowed plenty of room between for our 30 ft rig's 4 ft overhang. The nearby highway is high and over the dam, a little noisy at times, but got quieter after dark. Overall, Nice place for an overnight. We'll stay there again. Camp host was nice, we Felt safe and town was right there. Coming from I-54 Google Maps took us on a route of busy left turns with no signals into traffic. Might check the route before hand.

The sites were quiet, well spaced and well equipped. We had no trouble and enjoyed watching the boats on the river. The ranger was really helpful.

Nice RV Park, level shaded site overlooking the river. We only stayed one night, but it was a good experience.

The grass around the campsites was knee high. There were also so many stickers in the grass, we could only let our dog go in one tiny space. If we hadn't had a concrete slab to walk around our camper, we would have left. We encountered many other campers saying the same thing.
@AmyM7630349 · Camped on Sep 19, 2025 at Campsite #B1
We love it here. The only thing is that our site and other areas were not mowed this time and there were so many sticker burrs. They got all over our dogs paws and our shoes.

This was an excellent place to stay. Extremely safe at lots of interesting things around the park. I travel with a small dog andIt was enjoyable to walk him in many grassed areas. Bathrooms were very clean as the whole park did not have any trash laying around at all. I initially was staying for 3 nights and expanded it to 9.This is an excellent park for families and you can fish right from the campground.

The park is absolutely beautiful! Very resonable and very clean. If traveling that way again, will be sure to stay there!

Park was great. Attendant was wonderful. Weve stayed here several times and they seem to have problems with the bathrooms every time!

Unknowingly, there were chiggers Galore! We were on the last site in #123 and it was a nice shady site. We were greeted by hosts Gary and Mary, who gave us a couple trash bags!. We went down to the tent site #95 to jump in the water to go swimming.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
