As always the rangers and folks that greet you when you get there were great. Our complaint was the grass at the whole park was very high. I had to pull grass just to hook up water.

We stay here a few times a year while visiting our daughter in college. This is probably the nicest state campground we have been to. It is always clean and quiet, and the view of the river is really cool. The restroom and shower facilities are great! I appreciate how they are divided into individual rooms. The custodial staff really seems to stay on top of them as well. I also like that we are only 10 minutes or so from town.

The park was very clean and well maintained. You have a great views of the Lock on the Arkansas River.

Site C02. Full sun. Listened to the barges going through the lock all night. Might not have noticed so much if we were in a camber. People constantly walking right through the middle of the campsite.

Just a great park. Hosts were very friendly and helpful! Lot's of birds on the river and we enjoyed watching the barge traffic through the lock.Sites C04, C06, C08 and C09 along the river have a pretty steep grade. Not for a long motorhome or trailer.

Easy access to the park. Great view of the river but those sites are not level; you'll need at least 3 blocks to level. Plenty of space in between sites. Shady and quiet. There is a boat launch ramp and saw lots of people fishing. Dump station on site. Took a day trip to Little Rock and had a somber tour of the Little Rock Central High School National Historic site. Our park ranger tour guide was fabulous! The tour is free and took 2 hours. Highly recommend both the park and tour

Toad Suck Park is well cared for and loved. Camphosts Coy, Becky, Richard are so very kind and attentive. The town of Conway has everything I need including their beautiful library, groceries just a couple miles down the roadLove the Arkansas River, the variety of bird life is amazing, great park for walking, biking

Beautiful camping area. We loved setting by the campfire watching barges go through the lock system on the river. Well maintained area.

Site C02. 50 amp and water. Level enough not to need boards. Asphalt pad with concrete path and pavilion pad. Covered picnic table. Site is next to the boat ramp but that wasnt a bother. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful.

The park was a little hard to find with my GPS but it is a lovely little spot. I liked watching the barges navigate the lock on the river. Lots of water birds and raptors. The songbirds answered my whistles, confusing my dog! Facilities are updated and kept clean, a well tended park. Some traffic noise, and alarms from the lock, but overall my one night was peaceful. I just couldn't resist a park named Toad Suck! The nearby convenience store even had Toad Suck t-shirts, I did resist those!I would stay again, especially with fall colors beginning to flame, beautiful area to drive around. Quaint shops, enticing scents from local restaurants, and a gallery or three to explore.
