Really nice campground, it was very well maintained and super clean. The manager was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here overnight only. A4 has a has a substantial slop which takes almost half of the camper parking area. With a 30' camper and two pop-outs were weren't able to pull our wheels to the end of of the site (there's a big tree), and therefore ended up with our hitch being very close to the ground when leveled. We also had trouble with the 50 amp hookup. It didn't seem to put out the full 50 amps as some of our outlets didn't work. The part itself was clean and beautiful.

D02 is one of our favorites in the park! No complaints at all! Thank you!

We love to camp in D-Section & are very pleased with the campsites. In the past we have camped in other sections of the park. Unfortunately many of the campsites need upgrading because of unleveled & deteriorating parking pads. We also found poison oak & ivy growing wildly. We take our young grandchildren with us many trips which creates a lot of concern of them having a breakout.? Because of these issues we made the decision not to camp at Choctaw (my preferred place) if we couldnt make our reservations in the D-Section. A huge shout out to Ms Jeannie the park attendant for Choctaw. She is very attentive to our needs, always with a friendly smile. She makes our stay an even better one. We love Choctaw!

Beautiful park, well maintained. Very polite gate attendant. Downside, burn ban was on and we could not build a campfire.

The trash dumpsters were completely overflowing by day three and stayed that way for almost a Theres no fish cleaning station and everyone was dumping their fish guts into the dumpster, which with the warm temperatures created an awful stench that you could smell throughout the entire park. I camped at several parks around the country that have fish cleaning stations that are not only convenient for the campers but it drastically reduces the smell around the park. It would also reduce the amount of buzzards that concrete in and around the dumpsters scattering trash everywhere. Other than those two issues the camp ground is great and we will be back.

This is a nice place to stay, close to the lake, good place to base for one day Motorcycle runs. You can go out in all four directions, for good MC roads! The park and bathrooms are clean!

The restrooms were locked so we have to leave back early instead of enjoying the camping. This is the first time I have experienced anything like in my whole life. It was not at all expected, this has impacted the intentions of relaxing camping and thought of enjoying the nature. I would prefer to have my money refunded for this trip.

Beautiful area but the bathroom s were definitely lacking during our stay. Someone was smoking in the bathroom and they definitely didnt clean them properly. We ran out of toilet paper in just a few hours. This place is sooooo magical but we had several issues during our stay. Not as good as other areas around the lake.

Always have a great family memories every time we camp here. Love the seclusiveness, the safe place for kids to play, quietness, and the scenery! We do enjoy and savor every moment! Well run well kept. Hope they add water to the sites one day.

Overall a good experience. Campsites were very secluded and an amazing location see the perfect night sky. Both heated and non heated bathrooms/shower rooms were not kept up to good conditions

The park was not crowded and most generally everything was quiet. The lake level was down a little bit but the fishing was still pretty good.We really enjoyed the more mature and quiet atmosphere of the overall experience.

Great campsite. The bathrooms couldve been a little bit cleaner, but it wasnt that bad. Really enjoyed the campsite because it was clean, shady, and had all of what we needed. The playground was perfect for my smaller children. Highly recommend.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
