The trash dumpsters were completely overflowing by day three and stayed that way for almost a Theres no fish cleaning station and everyone was dumping their fish guts into the dumpster, which with the warm temperatures created an awful stench that you could smell throughout the entire park. I camped at several parks around the country that have fish cleaning stations that are not only convenient for the campers but it drastically reduces the smell around the park. It would also reduce the amount of buzzards that concrete in and around the dumpsters scattering trash everywhere. Other than those two issues the camp ground is great and we will be back.

Choctaw is out of date very bad, need actual grills, more bathrooms or the ones they have fixed, need proper maintenance in the lawn areas and water at the campsites would be nice.

Choctaw is a family friendly park with lots of shade trees. Staff is very nice.

We really enjoyed our camping trip. The facilities were nice and the Park Host was very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were sufficient, and we appreciated the care that was taken to keep them clean. The camp sites seemed well-spaced and well-kept.

Choctaw is a beautiful, quiet and shady campground. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The playground makes it a great park for families.
