Great park! Campsites are fairly level and long for any rig. Recently had a lot of storm damage and rain. Would definitely visit again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

So beautiful and quiet. Clean bathroom and shower ( although the shower was so strong I was afraid it would peel my skin off).

I love Deerlick Creek!

We enjoyed a great stay at shaded site 37 on a bluff overlooking the water. We were set up in a tent trailer at parking level with table, chairs, pop up toilet area on the lower level. Good cell signal. Quiet (mid-week stay). Every site is attractive, just need to select based on size of camper as some would not work with big rigs. Bathhouse was very clean, however its a steep walk up from sites along the river. Highly recommend for beauty, cleanliness, privacy, and friendly attendants.

Overall good experience. Not happy with there only being one bathroom on site and barely any hot water in the shower.

We really enjoyed our self at this park. It is very put together and clean. The sites for tenting are on the smaller side but were able to pitch our tent on concrete, so not a deal breaker. We had great cell service with CSPIRE. However, the reason we did not give this 5 stars is the bathhouse. The bathhouse was clean BUT we showered 4 out of the 5 nights with ZERO hot water. Which almost ruined our trip we will definitely come back because it was a beautiful park and the staff were absolutely amazing and sweet BUT not until the water issue is resolved.

A remote gem with great staff.

All the camp sites were well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were clean and warm. The lake was a perfect back drop to most of the camp sites. This is a very quiet and peaceful campground which is set within a mature forest.

The place was very clean and the hosts were very friendly. I spent a week while attending meetings in Tuscaloosa. It was fantastic.

Wonderful staff which provided information about pending storm and best available site. Clean restrooms and shower. Convenient to Tuscaloosa and grocery store.

Always a nice visit at Deerlick Creek.

Beautiful campground. A couple trails to walk, beach/swimming are, and nice bathrooms. Our site had a great view of the river but the driveway is steep (as evidenced by several scrape marks) and short. Would not recommend for long trailers. Ours is 21 with off-road clearance so it fit perfectly.

We love Deerlick. Views are great, staff is helpful and courteous and the bathhouse is nice enough for a pleasant camping experience. If you want to connect the cell service is strong enough to stream.

Love this campground, been camping here every football weekend for years. Great and friendly staff, keep the grounds and restrooms clean and in great shape. Only bummer this fall has been the trees that are down due to storms last summer, causing the campground to close while the roads and campsites were cleared. Once reopened, the downed trees lining the roads did not detract from camping at all. Walking trail close due to tress still blocking it. Hoping that they get to do more clearing in this offseason. This is a great campground, close to Tuscaloosa with lots to do and see!

We were locked into the campground and unable to leave until 7am. The gate was locked with a padlock. This is unacceptable. A gate arm with keypad or equivalent should be installed to allow registered campers to come and go as needed.

This is a beautiful well kept clean campground. The sites are spacious. The showers and restrooms were spotless. I had a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

The sites are awesome. I stayed at the waterside lot. Great views the space was very clean the pad level hookups excellent. Restrooms functional and picked up well

I like that the sites are spaced out and not to close to each other. Best of all is when its night its dark and a campfire Is the only light.

Courteous staff. Park facilities were clean. Camp sites were all clean. We had a great time.

Peaceful and quiet. Camp hosts worked very diligently to clear sites after storm took down many trees. They love their park and it shows. Looking forward to seeing you again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
