When we arrived Monday afternoon we were greeted by a nice lady but once we passed through the gate is was down hill from there. We have been coming here for years and love it. But this time was horrible. Bathrooms not working, couldnt tell where pavement was from all the leaves. Had to clean off my site before setup. Had a rain storm Tuesday morning 4 am no biggie lost power ok no problem but 28 hours later still out when everything around the park had power. Never saw any host after we arrived. The drive and bath house parking was so covered up with leaves you couldnt tell where to go . Ive never had this much trouble here. I have requested a refund for two of the 4 days. I am truly disappointed in Burchfield branch. Its such a beautiful place hopefully they can figure out what needs addressing. Even the people next to us had to borrow a blower from one of the host for their site. The host should have taken care of it. But instead handed it off to the woman. This is just not a good way to keep people coming back

The park is very secluded and clean, the River is just beautiful with the occasional Heron and Egret. We got to see a Tug and several barges loaded with coal transverse the River as well. Nice quiet space, absolutely no internet signal at all which was expected so bring some reading material. The restrooms have no showers so be prepared for that as well. Nice peaceful park and will definitely go again.

Was there on a Monday night and stayed in one of the sites along the river. Was a great site and being a Monday - off season I had no neighbors. The show house is in the upper campground was clean, well lite, and shower was hot.

It was really good. It would just be better if there was cell service in case there was an emergency

Beautiful and well maintained park. Camper sites are large and well spaced. Lots of trees and greenery give a sense of privacy. Pads are spacious and level. Each site has a separate area with a picnic table and cute little fence.The public bathrooms are very clean and even air conditioned! This is one of the nicest parks Ive stayed at.The only negative is that it seems to be quite far from grocery stores and other supply type places

Our spot , site 5 on the river was amazing it was pretty much what I would want a cabin on the river to look like. We were there only a couple of days but want to come again with friends.

This was a great campground. We enjoyed our visit. If I had to give a negative it would be the bathhouse is in the middle of the campground. So if you are on sites 1- 8 (I think) you have to go out one gate and into another to get to the showers. Just like everyone else said on the reviews there is NO cellphone service at all. Which honestly was very pleasant to be off the grid for a few days.

The campground is pretty but the sites are tight to maneuver into if in a motorhome. Nice outdoor space with a brook running between our site and the neighbors site. It's definitely off the beaten path with narrow roads leading into the campground. No stores for several miles around so make sure you have everything you need before coming here.

Best site on the River side, big deck with large picnic table & a heavy but moveable cooking stand.Will stay here again.

The campsites are very clean with paved pads that are level from side to side. Campground hosts were efficient but not real friendly. I wish there were sewer hook ups at the sites. The campground is a considerable distance off of the Interstate and are not the best for overnight stops.

The campground is way off the beaten path so it adds a bit of time and miles if you are just passing through. We had a campsite by the river which was nice. The non river sites also looked very nice. A barge came by in the late evening which was kind of cool but loud and with bright lights. We also saw an otter swimming along the river.

Love this campground. Great views on the water and sites off water looked super nice as well. Would be nice if they had one more shower facility so you didn't have to drive or walk a long ways for access. Very quite area and , a great place to get away from it all. Would be nice though for emergencies if there was either cell service or internet . Other then that perfect. Really enjoyed our few days there.

Well designed campground with back-in sites that are not challenging. Excellent staff, having the leaves blown off the site is a great help when camping in the Fall. Thanks!

Beautiful but very remote location. I had site 19 and it was so spacious and cozy. I had a great relaxing 4 nights. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is absolutely no phone service.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
