A campground for all! One loop is great for families spending a Summer on the lake, one is great for biking to the swimming area, and one is great for singles, couples without children. Bear loop has no entertainment for kids, all of the other loops are more kid friendly. Take a fan and extra extension cord!

Our camper had an electrical fire before we could even get unpacked so we had to leave and we didnt get a dime refunded. Not a pleasant experience

Bathhouse on Fox loop the shower would not stay on longer enough to get wet . Site was clean and maintained. I was in site 8 and if it rains expect a waterfall on your site. It was level and a good view of lake. If you go out of park they require you to give them your registration coming back in to check your tag number each time which slows process down.

Had a wonderful time. The staff was so nice and helpful. Our site and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The only suggestion I have is that there would be more than one shower in the shower house. I will be going back soon.

Great park and well kept. If you want cell service you may want to be on the Bear loop. The loops that are at the bottom of the hill get little to no service. We hiked the Raven Trail and really enjoyed it. But be aware of ticks, there are plenty of them. We had to thoroughly inspects our selves and remove ticks off our clothes.

Very private sites with a lot of trees. Level sites. Very clean bathroom / shower. Bike / hike trailheads in campground.

The people who run the camp ground are too strict. We and others came in 1.5 hrs before 2 pm check in time. We were all trying to beat a on coming storm. We had friends who had checked in the day before and knew our lot had already been checked and cleaned. The lady at the gate made six of us wait until check in time. Of course the bottom fell out and the weather caused all of us problems. The main lady was unfriendly and was rude to everyone. She needs training on being friendly and accommodating.. or she needs to be in a different field.

Had an overall good stay here. I will say those bath houses need updating. There is only 1 shower stall in the Fawn loop bath house with cold water only and to get that you had to push a button that would give you maybe 30 sec of water at a time. Also, our friends woke up to a big green sticker on his windshield saying his truck was going to be towed if he didnt move his truck bc 1 tire was barely off the asphalt. The sticker left a terrible residue on his windshield. They could have left the notice under a windshield wiper, but instead chose to ruin a paying campers windshield. Also, there was no grass at our site only barely enough asphalt to park your camper, vehicle and small pebbles that were used as ground cover that got EVERYWHERE in our camper.

This is a nice park, but way too many so called double sites. At least a third if not half are large single sites that they allow two rvs, 4 vehicles, and 12 people to occupy. We enjoyed our first week until spring break came and all the sites filled up including all the double sites. One of the reason we like COE, national forests, etc is the sites are always spread out and spacious. No so here. Great campground otherwise, if they would just eliminate most of the double sites.

Great location and campsites. However, the showers need hot water and updating. It is shamefully that a Federal park looks like this and has such poor facilities.

We had a good time camping there. The only issue was the bath house near our spot was out of order and we had to go to the other side of the loop. Not a deal breaker because I know things happen. All else was very good.

We had a wonderful time at the Halloween Bash. Our kids and grandkids loved truck or treating the campsites.

Beautiful campground

Beautiful campground with amenities. We stayed in site 21 which has beautiful view of the lake, is completely level, plenty of room around the site. Most sites are excellent. We were disappointed that the bathrooms on our side of the loop were not open, however, it appears they were closed for maintenance. Some of the rules can be excessive, when they say no parking on grass, this also includes gravel/dirt that may not have seen grass since 1987. While I understand the need not to park on the grass, the rule is taken to the extreme here. Otherwise, we had a beautiful stay and absolutely enjoy our times at clear creek. You cant beat it.

The campground is beautiful and peaceful. Our spot was a double and it was large enough for two campers and two trucks. The only negative was the bathhouse In our loop was out of order for the whole eleven days we were there.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
