Service park is well maintained, clean and accommodating. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. The most recent trip was especially notable. One of our rcamping friends experienced damage to his motorhome and the camp host was very helpful in getting the RV road worthy. I did not get the name of the host, who lives in Jackson, Alabama, but he and his wife were really great, lending us a ladder and helping hands. Very good experience

The park Attendant ladies were so super nice and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed for the night, even providing us with wood and a lantern and then they came back bright and early the next morning to make sure we were ok ( we are from Missouri and the alligators made me nervous at first. ) I would definitely stay here again, alligators or no

Camp Host was outstanding. Lock my keys in truck and she spent a lot of time finding someone to help. Got truck unlocked and was on my way. Park was clean and well kept. Bathrooms in good shape and clean.

This is my second time here and this time I got to see the barge and heard an owl nearby.Ginger was the one on duty when I arrived. She was as nice like Debbie from my previous stay and was attentive and thoughtful of how safe I will be.

Service park on the banks of the Tombigbe river is one of the nicest and cleanest COE campgrounds we have stayed at, and the caretakers are very friendly and very helpful, every stay is a treat to watch tugboats and barges traveling up and down the river, can't wait for ours next trip to Service park.

I was incredibly grateful that my husband found this place. The reservation at Bladon Springs State Park did not work because the restroom was locked.Debbie was an A+ host. She provided excellent activity and safety information about the campground. The restrooms and shower house were very clean with plenty of hooks to hang your towel and clothes. I will definitely come back!Victoria

Service Park campground was a very relaxing and very well kept campground. Enjoyable to watch the barges float up and down the river. The campsites are nicely spaced apart.

We camped with several other friends that were on other camp sites. The view of the river was very nice. The benches were an added bonus for those of us that were not on the river side. We enjoyed sitting and watching the sunrise. The walking trails added an adventure through the woods. We brought our boat to go fishing and the landing was close by. We didn't have our grandkids this trip, but when they were here the playground kept them busy for hours.

We were at Service COE campground Thanksgiving week - our first time there, and our first COE experience, too. The camp hosts was friendly and helpful, and the campground was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed it a lot, and will go there again.

Clean and well tended. The river traffic on the Tombigbee river was fascinating to watch.

Quiet and clean small park. We were on lot 7 which sloped side to side enough so we blocked under wheels on one side of our fifth wheel trailer to level. It was fun watching barges and pleasure craft using the waterway.

Love this park. We stayed a week. This was our second time and we travel from Wyoming. It is a very peaceful park and you can watch the barges go by on the river, which is just outside your door. Fuel is within a few miles but services are sparce other than that. So far, this is probably my favorite park.

Pull through sites along the river are easy to navigate, level, and have adequate room for tow vehicle too! Great views from these pull through sites of the barges/vessels along the river. Bathrooms were very clean and checked several times a day. There are a couple of trails to hike, short, one level flat and easy, another with some elevation but not that hard. Trails are well marked!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
