Service Park is one of the cleanest COE's we have stayed in. The hosts were so helpful and friendly.

Service park is well maintained, clean and accommodating. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. The most recent trip was especially notable. One of our rcamping friends experienced damage to his motorhome and the camp host was very helpful in getting the RV road worthy. I did not get the name of the host, who lives in Jackson, Alabama, but he and his wife were really great, lending us a ladder and helping hands. Very good experience

We were at Service COE campground Thanksgiving week - our first time there, and our first COE experience, too. The camp hosts was friendly and helpful, and the campground was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed it a lot, and will go there again.

I love Service Park. One of my favorites. I stayed twice in a week on a recent trip. The reason for not 5 stars is that the grass areas had not been mowed. I stepped carefully when hooking my camper to power and water. Even so, I did get a tick on me. They were working on the restrooms, so they were unavailable, but normally those are excellent. The dump is excellent, too, and thank you guys for that.

Very nice campground.This is one of our favorite core parks.Staff is very friendly.Only complaint is need cable for tv reception.

From the entrance to check in stop we saw nature at finest. A host was was there to great us within seconds, got us checked in and on our way to the campsite. We were so impressed with how clean and manicured every site was. The bathhouse was so clean and well kept. This will probably be our new go to place.

This was our first time staying at Service and we stayed in number 13. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot due to the fact that I was looking most forward to sitting by the river, relaxing and watching the river traffic. The staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful experience overall.

We really enjoyed our stay at Service, everyone was great from the park host to our fellow campers. The park is very well maintained and so clean. We will definitely be going back again.

Super friendly staff, nice sites, clean facilities!I rode out the bad weather that swept through the south a couple weeks ago. The staff came by occasionally to check on the campers and to let them know where to go in case of an emergency. The showers were hot and clean. The campground has hiking trails but theyre still fairly primitive. Alligators in water.There is noise from the barges that pass by on the river, so if that bothers you just be aware.

This is the 3rd time to visit this park. It's a unique park with about half the sites riverside. What dampened our stay this time was the initial attitude of the campground host. Yes there is a phone number posted at the gatehouse to call before obtaining a campsite, but it was pouring down flooding kind of rain and we wanted to look at the open sites to review the standing water status at open sites. While driving to look around, a host in a black jeep came tearing down the road after us as if we had just robbed a bank. He wouldn't even listen to our explanation, just kept repeating we were to call the number first. A very rude welcome. And we saw this repeated with another guest a little later. We understand doing a job. We don't understand trying to play cop. And then to say they were only open 2 more nights when clearly, if he would've listened, we stated we only needed one night. Unfortunately, he has made us question if we ever want to return to such rudeness.

Everything was good staff was real friendly but we had to take a weed eater and cut the grass on our site and a couple of more sites other than that it was a great place we have been going there since 1993
