Our visit to Service Park COE was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed it so much! The sites are clean and well-kept. Watching the barges going up and down the river was just fun. Camp hosts were awesome in every way!! We will be going back, for sure!

Camp Host was outstanding. Lock my keys in truck and she spent a lot of time finding someone to help. Got truck unlocked and was on my way. Park was clean and well kept. Bathrooms in good shape and clean.

Service park on the banks of the Tombigbe river is one of the nicest and cleanest COE campgrounds we have stayed at, and the caretakers are very friendly and very helpful, every stay is a treat to watch tugboats and barges traveling up and down the river, can't wait for ours next trip to Service park.

The host and the camp ground was tip top. We go twice a year to have a family camp out with about 25-35 folks. I believe we had all but four of the river front lots this last time. Had one of the best visits. May and Oct are our months.

Service Park is a delight. The grounds and sites are beautifully maintained, and the Camp Hosts are most cordial. We greatly appreciated the raked picnic area and color-coded trails! We were in site 12.

We were in site 12, right on the river - it was beautiful, nice shade and the paved driveway (it's a pull through site) was level. The site is spacious. The hosts did an excellent job of keeping the grounds neat (they blew the leaves off the sites as they emptied) and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. They drove around the sites several times a day and were always pleasant and willing to help if there was a problem. The campground was quiet and peaceful - we loved sitting and watching the barges go by. There was a small grocery store in Grove Hill (Greer's Cashsaver) that had a good variety and very reasonable prices. It was about 15 miles from the campground. We will definitely return!

We stay at C.O.E. Parks all across the country, and this was one of the best!! The folks at the entrance were super nice, a quiet and very clean park. Easy access right off US route 84 in Alabama. This stop was for only one night on a planned trip--but we would like to go back there and spend some time exploring the surrounding area. Site 12 was a pull thru (swing thru) with view of the Tombigbee river. Travel trailer 30 foot.

We had a wonderful time with friends at Service Park. The peaceful setting watching tugs move up and down the river was fantastic. Nice clean sites with ample room. All but a couple of sites along the water are pull thru sites. But dont forget the sites across the road which are back in sites but are large and very level. You cant make a mistake on any sites. Small campground that other campers become good friends. All camp hosts are fantastic and very friendly. They take the time to ensure you have a great camping trip. Not much around the area but if you look hard enough you can find things to do. Highly recommend a trip to Service Park for a great camping trip to relax.

Site 12 is a pull through right on the water. The campgrounds are very well-kept and the hosts are helpful and hard-working. There are several well-marked trails which we walked on back to back days, each day taking 2.5 to 3 hours. The blue trail is somewhat challenging but not impossible. Other than the campgrounds there's not much local attraction imo. Coffeeville is dry but has a Dollar General and an ExxonMobil station a few miles from the park. The other direction towards Silas there's a package store and a store selling mostly bland American beer plus Heineken, Modelo, and Dos Equi. We brought bikes but there's not a lot of biking to do without leaving the park. We would definitely stay again.

I love the peaceful environment of Service Park. I had a riverfront site with a beautiful view of the river and the boat traffic. I had scheduled a 4 night stay which was cut back to 2 nights due to potential river flooding. We had a mandatory evacuation order. I’m anxiously awaiting the water to recede so I can go back again. This is the perfect place to relax with your family!
