We changed site several times as better sites became available. Havent experienced the pump out yet but the rest of the facilities are decent. Not the best we have seen. This place needs more toilets and more level sites.

The mosquitos were awful after dark. They ate me alive. We were camping with another couple and had a blast with them.

My grandparents had a cabin on the other side of the park by the canal for several years, and I came up there as a child often. It is still my favorite place to be, the electric and tent sites have everything you need, and it's a WONDERFUL park. Being able to watch barges go by, getting out to fish, riding your bikes through the campsites, swimming, pavilions, it's got everything and the prices are very reasonable.

We absolutely love this place. We bought a camper to explore but we keep coming back to this one. Well kept and gorgeous. I gave it a 4 because they dont enforce the leash rule and several times weve had to turn around on walks because of unleashed dogs. Completely unleashed! We witnessed a dog on retractable leash attack two smaller dogs. Weve had dogs on retractable leash lunge at our dogs.

Camp sites were well maintained and spacious. Plenty of room for vehicles, our tent, and extras. Was nice having a sturdy picnic table and a decent fire ring. The main bathrooms were well maintained. The vault toilet at the opposite end of our campground was a little sketchy but not bad overall. Would camp here again!

We stayed in the Upper loop (site 33). Lots of space, corner site. You are by all the traffic coming in but a lot of shade & established old trees. Only 30AMP. Very long sites-80ft. Our site was easy to level.

Very nice location, well kept campsites, bathrooms adequate. Just a nice mood to the place, GIANT cottonwood trees offering lots of shade.

We had originally booked a site without shade. The staff helped us move to a shady site with a better view of the Mississippi River. We visited the Fish Hatchery and museum nearby.

Beautiful campground. My only issue was the bathrooms did not seem as clean as past trips and Mens room only had one hand dryer that worked.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
