Beautiful Park, but the Sprinkler management still needs major improvement. After setting the plugin sprinklers, with 20 minutes, they all drift counter clockwise.. watering the roads, cars, RV'S with phosphate filled water. And the Sprinkler guy is no where to be found. It's the same story, year after year.One big improvement, is that the rest of Staff this year, are nice as can be! ,ove you Guys!

We grabbed an available spot for one night. Our site (#28) was great - water view and shaded. Some sights are in full sun and would be miserable in summer heat. A large portion of a tree branch fell a few sites down from us. Several other trees need cleaned up and median grass was quite tall in some areas. Overall we enjoyed our overnight stay and got to see a beautiful sunset.

This campground was absolutely beautiful! The park was very clean and well-maintained, with spacious, level campsites that made setup a breeze. I really appreciated how peaceful and scenic the area wasperfect for a relaxing getaway.The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroomit could use a little work. It wasnt terrible, just could benefit from some updating.Overall, Id definitely come back and recommend it to others. Great experience!

It is a great place to watch river traffic. I would recommend Monday through Thursday if you're wanting quieter surroundings.

Beautiful campground. Lawns are nice and green with a nice marina. Camp hosts friendly and helpful. My husband didnt bring his scooter as it says specifically, no scooters! But there were scooter everywhere!

Good location, but make sure to bring your receipt because they may not post a sign indicating you have reserved a gazebo.

Love your park and the staff. Our son lives in TC so we come every Fathers Day weekend. They come down on Friday evening for dinner and then they bring their boat on Saturday and we spend the day on the river. Thanks for running such a great park

What a great camping experience. Nice site. Lots of room and space between our site and other campers. We didn't feel squished in our site or that we might encroach in other campers space. It was nice having power and water at our site. Tree cover was more than sufficient and the landscape is very pretty.

Charbonneau Park is a lovely camp grounds, boat launch, and day picnic swimming are. This time I stayed in campsite #47. I had a great view of the moored boats and Snake River BUT there are NO shade trees so my camper van was in full sun all day in 101 degree temperatures. Also, the circuit breaker kept tripping for 2 days. Very annoying in middle of night when AC would quite working. I dialed amp down to 20 and still had issues. I dont advise staying in this spot. The campground host (aka the warden) would not let me check in until 2pm, which I get but it was 1:54 so I had to park in the overflow area for 6 minutes. I thought that was a bit ridiculous.

I made a non-weekend reservation months ago and was able to obtain one of the 7 or so full-hook up sites for the trailer. Paved site with picnic table and fire ring. More sites have only electricity. The park is maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers contractor. Many trees on most back in spots. Drive through spots directly facing river. The hot sun settles in East which heats up the river spots and others without trees. Great boat launches onto the Snake River reservoir behind nearby Ice Harbor dam. I brought my boat and two different friends drove out from Richland on two days to bass fish. I later inflated my kayak and went for a paddle. Large public picnic area adjacent to boat launches with barbecue, great bathrooms and showers and designated swimming areas.

Most of the sites just have electricity without water hookup. However, if you look at the campground map, the sites with a bar under the campsite number have full hookup ( water, electricity, sewer). The campground itself is very nice with a nice and clean restroom/shower building. Charbonneau is one of our favorite campgrounds.

Love this campground. Close to towns with different activities including wine tasting and amazing restaurants. Dayton, Waitsburg, Walla Walla & Tri-Cities. Fishing is fun and biking. Play ground is on opposite side of whole park but drive or ride to it. Only wish the showers both worked better in the womens. Right side is fine. Left side, water hardly comes out.

Very nice park. Nice setting, clean, quiet, right on the river/lake. You are a ways from things if thats what you like, we didnt mind at all. We stayed one night, passing through, and would for sure go back.

Thus is such a peaceful place. They let me switch spot at the last minute. They need more spots with full hookup.Other then that it's a great place to relax

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
