The campsite was amazing! 180 degree views of the river. Couldnt have been a better site. Why Im not giving the complete experience 5 stars is because upon checking in to the campground, the attendant said, Just so were clear, there is no alcohol or drugs allowed on the property. Not sure why a person couldnt have a beer while camping. It was an unusual rule that I was surprised to hear. I like beer so I probably wont return.

Nice park. The sites are larger than most parks. Nice water view sites available along the perimeter. Site 46 has direct sun all day, sites 45 on down have some shade and trees which is nice. There are goat heads and thorns in the grass which made it terrible for dogs. We didn't use our bikes out of concern they would pop our tires. The trails down to the water were overgrown at this time, May 10th, so don't know if they will get maintained at a later date. The shoreline was a bit disappointing by not being able to walk down to the water. We only found a couple trails that went to the shoreline, and they were unpassable due to tall overgrowth. It would be nice if there were garbage cans scattered throughout the park for easy access, rather than larger dumpsters near the check in cabin. When the park says "check in at 2 ", they mean "check in at 2". There was no checking in early even when the sites were empty. The restrooms were clean and maintained. Ice Harbor Dam is located 5 miles away. It was a nice side trip. We drove 6 hours to come to this park. Although the view from the campsite of the marina and the dam in the distance were great, I'm not convinced that I would make another trip back here, just because there wasn't a lot to do since we couldn't ride our bikes and couldn't access the shoreline, and didn't find any hiking trails around.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The campground has always been clean each time we go. Guys at the little store were great.

We had a great spot right across from the marina. People in boats on the weekend were very rude playing music full blast! The campground hosts were great. They let us know there were goatheads by our campsite so we kept our dog away from the area. We only stayed two nights as a stop over. Don't think we would stay as a destination.

First open week of the year, sprinklers hit the RV at night and a huge amount of tack weeds
