Thus is such a peaceful place. They let me switch spot at the last minute. They need more spots with full hookup.Other then that it's a great place to relax

All as expected, its just a shame that the grass cannot be green in the campsite although Im sure with such heavy use it is t possible to keep it alive. We have been coming for about 27 years so we have seen much evolvement in growth, use and population. Also the pests have changed from feral cats to skunks to raccoons and now the fox are getting closer.

We have been camping at Charbonneau park for at least 30 years and this was the worst condition the park has ever been in. They haven't been mowing regularly and there are tall weeds everywhere. There are also many dry spots. This has always been one of the prettiest parks but has gone down hill. We were very disappointed and would like to find out why this has happened. Also, the boat launch at the marina is in bad condition. One of the ramps was closed off and the other one had a big drop off. It was very crowded with only one ramp open.

River view is very nice and cell service is much improved. Be prepared for bugs however. Bathrooms were clean and attended to.

We stayed at site 23 and 24 in June. The grounds look nice and the camp host were extremely pleasant. The bathrooms were what you would expect. We brought 2 boats and parked them in our pull throughs which was nice. The very bad was the earwig infestation. I woke up to dozens of earwigs on the tarp outside our tent. The next 2 nights we did not stay in the tent because the earwigs were crawling all over it. We think the earwigs may have been dropping from the trees as well. When we got home there were earwigs in the ski locker. We used site 24 for our outdoor kitchen. The earwigs got inside our ice chests. The park is very nice, however I will not camp here again.
