Camp hosts were very nice and did a great job! The creek has no water flowing through it. You can hear the semis downshifting and breaking all night on the highway from the campground. People need to be more courteous of others and clean up after themselves and their children after using the outhouse. It was so gross going in right after them and seeing the mess they made.

Clean and every site is close to water. Very friendly hosts.

Lovely to be in the pines. The creek was quite low due to less snow in the higher country, but the kids still had fun. Our trailer is 20' and is about the largest this campground will accomodate; most of our group was in tents.

The campground was beautiful and the camp hosts were very helpful. However, I reserved A16 at Christopher Creek Campground which the website said was for RV camping; I have a small popup. The campsite was not accessible with the RV; I would have to park my camper on the road! Camping on the street was not my idea of a good camping experience. Fortunately, I had also reserved another site since we were a group of campers from our church. I was able to move to another site, but I think the assignment of the site as RV camping was quite misleading. The camp hosts helped us resolve the issue; they were fantastic.

Grate hosts, friendly camper around us. My kids had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Beautiful campground with friendly hosts. It was so quiet at night, even on memorial day weekend. The creek was a bit low, but we had fun catching crayfish and exploring the campground. Our site was big and right on the creek which was very nice, but not very flat so it was a bit of a hard time figuring out where to put the tents. Still recommend and would definitely try to get the same site when we return!

Sharon, Jo & Syd were excellent campground hosts. The hosts introduced themselves shortly after my arrival. The hosts were very informative about fire restrictions and answered all my questions. The hosts were very friendly. I was traveling solo and the hosts stopped by to say hello when passing by during the day. I felt very safe. The restrooms and campground were very clean. I throughly enjoyed my stay here. Thanks Sharon, Jo & Syd!

We stayed in the group site and had the best time, as always. Our camp hosts were fantastic and made sure we were aware of the animal sightings in the area.

I cant quite a few places around this area and Ive never experienced such a micromanaging campground. The first morning we saw 1 or 3 camp host drive around 14 times before noon its felt like you were being watched. Camps sites are a lot closer then they look on the site. Also NO MENTION of a fire on the site so ALOT of people were not aware.

Great place and beautiful scenery. We were able to hike all the way up the creek and is just a short drive to lake.

The bathrooms are and campsites are really close together and smells awful.. if you're looking for fresh air and seclusion this is not the place and the creek is barely a creek!

The campground is nice and generally quiet, more suited for tent camping, then even a small RV in my opinion. Park is clean, bathrooms probably as clean as possible but lots of flies in them.There is a lot of truck Jake brake noise at night, as well as airplane noise that sounded low altitude, we had a nice stay while we were there anyway, rangers were pleasant, easy drive from the phx valley

Beautiful area! We were there during the week, and the campground was peaceful and quiet. Our campsite had a creek running behind it, too. Plenty to do in the area, would definitely recommend staying here.

Spot 17 is amazingthat said unfortunately the campers before us used the surrounding woods as their toilet!! Nasty

It would been a 5 star if only the toilets werent possibly the worst ever. There was no staff onsite and every single toilet was super stinky and unhygienic with flies all around. These were pit toilets with no ventilation whatsoever. If only we had known or researched this beforehand, would probably have skipped the campground altogether.That being said, the campground itself is beautiful with tall palm trees all around. Every site comes with bear proof box, which we saw for the first time (and got a little scared too ). The sites were well spread out and still didnt feel too far away. There is a little creek which was fun. We had a blast overall, if only not for the restrooms.

Great campsite next to creek. Has bear box to store cooler and trash, but tight parking along side of road.

We had a wonderful time at this campsite! There was a little mixup regarding reservations with another camper, but Mike the camp host worked everything out in a smooth and professional way! Five stars for Mike the camp host, lol!

The vault toilets smelt so bad that the whole campground smelt and as a result i left a day early. Have not had this problem at other campgrounds

Sites are large. Bathrooms are well maintained. Very quiet place.
@BrianB7534319 · Camped on Jul 22, 2024 at Campsite #33
There is no longer a dedicated camp host. Now it is some kind of volunteer rotation. Guess how the bathrooms were? The smell of sewage could be smelled from 3 camp sites away. I could not even enter the bathroom because the stench was so bad. The one bathroom I could open the door, it had no toilet paper and 50+ flies swarming! We left after one night and will not be returning. Way to go federal govt trying to save a few bucks and leaving the camp to some redneck trash to manage.

Always love, Christopher Creek and have been coming to this campground for years. As someone who enjoys to camp alone, I find comfort in camping at campgrounds with hosts and a few amenities available.However, I am very disappointed in the current hosts that are running this location. I camped for 4 days and never once did anyone stop by to greet me or check me in. Bathrooms are neglected. There were many instances of the host racing through the loops in their golf cart their dog running off leash beside them and children dangling off the sides of the golf cart. The hosts offered no sense of comfort, but instead made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I really hope this is their only season here.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
