Christopher Creek Campground is located in the Payson Ranger District, Tonto National Forest (2 hrs 2 min northeast of Scottsdale, AZ) with an elevation of 5,706 feet. There are a total of 41 campsites including 2 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the beginning of November. 39 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 22 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Fees range from $24.00 to $80.00.

Great place to camp. It has the cleanest and well maintained outhouses I have ever used. I only wish it had power accessible to make it perfect.

3rd year we have camped as a family at Christopher's Creek and we love it! Clean facilities, great space, and fun places to visit.

We've always enjoyed this campground but this time the water wasn't working at all - until right before we left. The bathrooms kept running out of TP - so glad we brought some to provide. Also, when one campsite blasted very loud party music from midnight to 2 am - nothing was done.

Restrooms were very clean. Sites were clean and our fire ring had been emptied before we arrived. Campground was very quiet and our small group (two sites) had a great time for the two nights we were there.

Love this campground so much!! Had a terrific time! Close to many trails. The hosts were friendly. Went during the week and there weren't a lot of people which was nice. Great spaces & plenty of room.

Campground was well maintained and the easy access to the creek was great for light hikes. Sid, the camp host was very friendly and helpful, as was Duke, who I hope you get to pat on the head cause hes a good boy.

Excellent Experience.!! Hosts were great! There needs to be a limit on dogs per campsite. Later in the day the barking from at least 10 dogs were somewhat irritating.

The sites are large and other campers respectful of each other. Bathrooms were kept clean too. Would definitely camp there again.

This is such a beautiful campsite. I have always enjoyed coming up here. Although Their website says they allow fire pits and they have a grill and just please know that this is quite misleading because once you enter the campground, there are no fires or Charcoal allowed of any kind everything must be propane.They drive around quite a bit and threaten me with fines, even when you havent done anything yet

Christopher Creek is lovely. Weather was great, unfortunately the creek is pretty dry. Nice hiking trails and the camping spot was very clean. Bathrooms are as expected a bit stinky, but plenty of toilet paper.

The creek is dried up. Its the only thing that makes this place magical. The toilets stink so bad and you can smell them through the forest. It wasnt worth the money at all!!!

The creek was almost empty, just breeding grounds for tons of mosquitoes.The site was very uneven and sloping making it impossible to park the trailer without leveling tools.On top of that the app was showing the site as first come first serve which wasn't true, so we were forced to leave after less than 12 hours.Got better camping elsewhere for free.
