Amazing spot right on the creek. The campground are clean including the bathrooms that there is no shortage of.

Beautiful campground with friendly hosts. It was so quiet at night, even on memorial day weekend. The creek was a bit low, but we had fun catching crayfish and exploring the campground. Our site was big and right on the creek which was very nice, but not very flat so it was a bit of a hard time figuring out where to put the tents. Still recommend and would definitely try to get the same site when we return!

Great campsite next to creek. Has bear box to store cooler and trash, but tight parking along side of road.

Beautiful! The campsite itself was slightly downhill. Wonderful for privacy, but would’ve been nice to expect it ahead of time. Probably the best spot in the camp!

My family loves this area. The campground is always clean and my granddaughters love catching craw dad’s in the creek. This year was especially cool and nice and being able to have a campfire was a bonus.

Very well maintained campground. The hosts were super sweet. Bathrooms were the cleanest Ive ever seen at any campground an my 51 years. They arent flushing toilets, just fancy holes in the ground but very clean and no spiders! I was a little disappointed in the fact that our campsite didnt have a BBQ grill like it showed in the picture. It was just a fire pit with a grate. Made it a little difficult to cook on since it was so low to the ground. Picnic tables are nice sized and solid! The tall, established trees were nice because we were able to hang a clothes line and a lead for our three dogs. There no showers so plan accordingly. We had no bear sightings but a coyote wandered onto our campsite. I was able to scare it off without incident but come prepared for that as well. You can buy bundles of firewood for $8. It includes about 5-6 pieces of wood. Each site has a bear safe cabinet thing which is very nice. The sound of the creek was peaceful and the smell of the pines were refreshing. We will definitely go back!

We come to this campground every year and while the water seems to be less and less the campground never disappoints. Its always clean and well maintained.

I struggle with giving this only 3 stars as I have been coming here for over 40 years and has been my favorite place. The stars have NOTHING to do with the hosts and property though. I have never seen the bathrooms so clean and the hosts so friendly and amazing!! What bothers me is so much amplified music and what seems like a huge party. What has happened to camping?? Camping to me is quiet and relaxation in the forest with nature, not listening to Post Malone or Bad Bunny (????) at full blast! It hurts my heart to say that I will have to move on to a new place, one where I can relax in my hammock without a concert happening all around me.

I have been coming here since 1980 and this last trip was the first in a very long time. My only complaint is the creek is covered now and our favorite thing to do as kids was to persuade drivers to go fast and splash us! I was absolutely floored about how clean the campground and especially the toilets are, like WOW! Just an amazing overall experience and all the hosts were wonderful.

This camp was a wonderful find! Beautiful spot by the creek. Camp hosts were awesome. Beautiful setting in the forest. An easy drive into Payson which was a marvelous and welcoming town to visit. The steak house/bar just down the road awesome as well for a great dinner. I will definately choose this camp again if in the area!

Spent couple nights at Christopher creek campground from Sunday to Tues. We camped at the site number 17 which I believe it's the best site at this campground as the site is quite large, shady and right next to the creek. Campground overall is well maintained and toilets are quite clean which is a plus. We will definitely be back...

We LOVE camping at christopher creek campground! Most of the sites are spacious, the creek is so fun to explore, theres tons of hiking nearby and we ADORE our camp hosts Roger and Ellen! They are so friendly and accommodating, checking in with us multiple times a day to make sure theres nothing we need - they even bring my kids (and dog!) treats! Highly recommend this spot, you wont be disappointed!
