We have been camping at CC a couple times a year for the last few years. When we arrive, our site is clean, fire pit shoveled out and we are ready to set up. This time, we had a total 5 sites for our family (the group site was booked-but empty) when we arrived, I was shocked by how overgrown everything was. I understand that it is camping, in the woods, however, if you are paying to stay at a "managed" campground, it should look managed. Some of the grass and weeds were higher than my knee. The fire pits were not shoveled (we had to ask for ours to be shoveled as it was at least 3 inches high of ash-and we forgot our shovel) we also had to pick up trash..We love CC and will continue to stay here, but I think maybe the new hosts should do a bit more managing/cleaning the sites and a bit less driving around the loops, in an effort to maintain what CC "used" to be like.

clean and quiet plenty of restrooms and water sites were not on top of each other like some campgrounds and had a nice creek next too it to play in

The campground host is a bit creepy and stinks like cigarette smoke! There were several items at the site left behind by previous campers and the pit had not been cleaned out after last campers but we still enjoyed the weekend and the great adventure of CC Campground...
