I've camped here before last Aug (2023) so I'm not sure if there is a new host but the bathrooms were filthy when we arrived on Friday afternoon and weren't cleaned a single time all weekend with a full campground. The camp host zoomed around on his cart running his dog but never stopped to confirm my reservation or anything. Loud groups walked the loop past 11PM drunk. I won't ever return here.

I grew up going to Christopher Creek and have always loved it. Campsite 35 is beautiful and tucked against the edge of the forest. The only issue was that there's no spot that is 100% flat/level for a tent - we had two tents in the flattest spots, but they were still on a slight incline, making things a little more complicated for sleep.

Very nice campgrounds. We stayed at site B35, one of the most well shaded campsites we have ever paid for. Every site has what seemed to be a new or newer bear box. Vault toilet was clean as clean goes when its a vault toilet. Sites were far enough apart from others to have some sort of privacy. Campgrounds were clean, close walk to the creek, and 20 mins from the town of Payson if you needed to go in for any emergency items, etc. Camp hosts were friendly and welcoming. We would stay again!

Everything was in tip top shape even during the week after a major holiday. And had most of Loop B to ourselves. Very quiet. Camp hosts were excellent!

Comfortable for camping with kids—roomy campsites with grill rack fire pit, charcoal grill, picnic table, bear-proof lockers, and well-maintained toilets, plus friendly hosts and a creek. This spot is right off the highway though, so you will hear the slight hum of traffic throughout the night.

Roger, the Ranger Host, could not have been nicer or more helpful. He answered our questions and twice delivered firewood right to our site. He is a real asset to the campground. This was my second stay at Christopher Creek but it won't be my last.

Great experience, clean, family friendly and quite. The camp host was great to the kids and friendly to talk to.

We are from Iowa and this was our first time doing a long camping trip. Roger + the other camp host made it so much easy & fun. I will 100% come back to this campsite.
