I always enjoy camping here. The only thing I would like to see change is the bathrooms. The toilets are disgusting. They are always like this every time I come. The build up is terrible and you can tell they havent been cleaned in months let alone every week. One of the sinks have been broken for years. You cant turn on the water. I would love to see that get fixed. Only other complaint I have is that the tables and shelf under pavilions all need a good cleaning. My shelf area was disgusting. So if you camp here, make sure to bring a water hose to clean your area in case its over looked.

This is a beautiful park with so much potential; however, we have noticed on our last few visits that the sites have not been clean or well kept with trash being at the site, and bird, wasp, and spider nests being all in the enclosures. Additionally, on our last walk down to the fishing pier there was trash everywhere. Not just a little trash, a lot of trash. A tree was down over the cement stairway leading to the pier making it impassable without walking off into the dirt. The tree looked like it had been there for some time. The trash really ruined the beauty of the natural environment. First off, we blame the people who throw their trash around and secondly, this park needs some clean up crews. There is a lot of open space between the sites and the lawn areas are kept fairly well-groomed so I would say just get some clean up done and we would give this 5 stars.

Seems like campground increasingly neglected. Trash on campsite along with wasps nests on cabana. Spider webs everywhere and the patio looks like it has not been touched in years. Pressure washing would help. Camp host should be renamed to camp squatters.

Stayed here many times and always enjoy it. My only complaint is that the T-Mobile signal isn't consistent...some spots are good, and others not so much.

We arrived before the time to check in (3:00). We were meeting other family that day at the swimming area around the cove. When we entered there was no attendant in the entrance booth. So, we passed on thru figuring the attendant would come around to check us in later. We spent the day with family & later in the day we were ready to go to the cabin, but we did not know the combination to the lock on the cabin. We went to the front gate house & nobody was still there.We checked at the attendant's trailer & still no one. We were finally able to see an attendant driving around later & were able to get into the cabin. The rest of the day/evening & next day/evening was uneventful. The following morning, we were woken with a heavy rainstorm. The cabin had a large leak in one corner of the cabin that wet our clothes & other things we had in that corner. We have been coming to the same cabins for maybe four years & have never had this problem & it has previously rained for days at these same cabins. We also made mention to the attendant about the ceiling fan not working in the cabin. We were told that "a work order had been made." The restrooms as well were not as well maintained as on our previous visits. One of the restrooms had a toilet stuck on flush the whole time or run constantly the two 1/2 days we were there as well as another toilet had the same problem. The toilet paper had run out or was wet. We have always had a great time at this park & never had these issues. It seemed the amount of care for this park has dropped a bit. We will give it ago still in the near future hoping that it has been upgraded to the previous standards we have experienced in the years prior to this one. The parks had never disappointed before, so we were surprised. We had a great time otherwise in the swimming area & met some great people as well. The starry evenings did not disappoint as well as the curious wildlife that tried to visit us in late evening as we sat outside our cabin. TY

Because of flooding all water recreation was closed and we couldn't do anything so we left after one day. I filed a claim to get a refund on the days we didn't use and have received no reply. Please contact me to resolve this issue.

on our last day of camping we did lose power late in the evening. no one came to advise us how long power might be off. It was quite warm and could not sleep so we just went to our home to sleep and came back the next morning to pick up our RV. We realize things happen and no fault of the camp ground. Over all we had a great time and will keep coming back. It is one of our favorite camp grounds.

Disappointed in the lack of upkeep. I grew up at Granger Lake and it seems as though few upgrades have been made in theblast 30+ years. Our campsite had a fire pit full of about 100+ cogarette butts, the grill wasnt cleaned and the combo to the bunk house was not provided and took staff a bit to figure out when we got there.Then the fishing dock had a downed tree that has noticably been down i. The walking path for sometime obstructing the steps to the point that a new walking trail around it into the brush had already been formed and stomped down.Lake was nice as always and the rv setup was easy to access and parking was easy. Kids and I had a great time despite the few disappointments, but would like to see some TLC spent on the park.

We kind of stayed in the off season before the 4 of July. It was quiet and peaceful. The host are unbelievably nice & helpful. We will continue to stay there.

COE doesnt appear to be investing time or energy in keeping the park clean and safe. With all the price increases and park being full for several days each week. Sad to see these parks decline.

Best park on lake granger. Clean sites and well maintained shelters. Water pressure is low in the showers and water was hot and no way to adjust! The host are very nice and helpful! We stay here several times thru the summer

The park was ok. The water pressure is on the low side (this creates issues with a tankless water heater). I also purchased an annual pass, but have been there multiple times and have been unable to get my plackard. The gate attendant never has the passes. Other locations (Belton Lake) will not acknowledge the annual pass without the plackard and state I must return to Wilson Fox to get the plackard. DO NOT PURCHASE AN ANNUAL PASS FROM THIS LOCATION IF YOU VISIT OTHER PARKS!

Had a great time on site 18. Its pretty level. Only had to adjust a bit side to side. Playground is close enough to the camp to let the kids play. Only thing I had an issue with was the 30 amp hook up. It would cut power with the slightest movement to the cord. Luckily, I had a 50 to 30 amp converter and used that.

Great park. Nice gate attendant. Just hated that lower keypad was broke. Had to get out of truck to do higher one. But park was great and park attendant was very nice

We enjoyed our stay. The campsites are spacious. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the bathrooms could be cleaner.
@JerryG8943024 · Camped on Apr 28, 2025 at Campsite #6
Everything was good except for the restrooms. The restroom that is in the middle of the park was disgusting and there was no way you could use it. The other restroom only has one shower that works on the men's side. Everything else was ok.

Great park. BBQ pits need replacing along with fire rings.

The power at our site was horrible. The restrooms kept running and overflowing

We reserved our spot with a shelter for our overnight/fishing trip. We were never able to remove the pad lock from the door of the shelter. The lock combo they gave us (via email) was incorrect. Of course there was no one there to help and no one to answer the phone.

The bathrooms were the worst Ive ever seen in any park. The lights were out, water all over the floor, plumbing was in poor working order, hand dryer non-functional, no towels, and a terrible terrible stench. No one is caring for this building. And thats the mens side. The womens side Was closed due to maintenance. Also there seems to be no one patrolling the park at all. People just do what they want: ground fires during burn bans, loud Mexican music played for hours at night, people parking numerous vehicles in the grass. Lots of loud talking and laughing until late at night. Not all bad though. The camp spots were paved and spaced nicely apart from each other, 50 amp and most spaces big enough for the largest RV rigs. I probably wont be back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
