Very quite and clean park, the picnic tables and the roofs over the tables are very large and continually shade the table most all day, the staff at the park are very nice and helpful, the grass is well kept and maintained just a beautiful park

The volunteer at the gate is the best. She was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful campground, but bathrooms were not cleaned for a full week.a toilet clogged over flowed and left that way an entire week makes no sense to neglect such a simple thing

No water in the restrooms, bugs in bathrooms, kept grounds mowed nicely, grandson fell down the very steep stairs to the boat dock and had to have emergency surgery; there are NO handrails down a very steep slope. No sites near or even close to the lake. There are way better places to stay!

awesome campground. if you study the park map it is very easy to find a spot with lots of shade. spots are spacious, some large. we stayed in site 24. next closest neighbor was 75 feet or better away. site 24 has the rv door facing east. with the trees and pavilion, that side of the rv was in the shade all day. 50 amp service and water, no sewer at site. dump station is easily accessible. camp host was very friendly. each site seems to have its own pavilion, which i have not seen before. especially at $26 per night. some sites even had a screened-in bunkhouse. has boat ramps and a swimming area. the only con is the swimming area is a little far to walk to. we will definitely be back.

Great site, not too close to any other site. Has good shade all day long. RV pad almost perfectly level. Probably our favorite site of the park.

We were in a great site (24) that was quiet and partly shaded. The distance between sites at this COE park is really nice. We drove through the park before making reservations to decide which sites would be best for us - 38 ft, 3 slides, Class A. We look for level sites with trees that are not too close. This site was nice for us. WiFi hot spots and speeds were just ok; Sprint better than Verizon and neither great. Some areas of the park are better. We would not recommend the sites near the shelter sites as there were lots of extra tents and cars every time we’ve been here. We chose to wait on dumping as the dump station on the tree side is rather rough and too close for our comfort. It would also be great to extend the hiking trails from the dam, through this park, to Taylor Park (which we had hiked on a previous occasion).

We had a wonderful camping trip. The place was clean. The water in the shower was comfortably warm. It was nice to not have to take a frigid shower. Will definitely be back. Getting in with my reservation was very easy, as well.

Great place to stay. Enough space between sites that allow privacy.
