The power at our site was horrible. The restrooms kept running and overflowing

It was our first visit and we enjoyed it. The park is nice and pretty, with huge covered picnic tables at each site, and the sites are not on top of each other, which is a plus. The lake is pretty, with a nice fishing dock, and gravel banks to enjoy walking and relaxing on. The only cons were that there was trash scattered all over the park (I spent time on each of my dog walks picking up other people's trash), there was a "noisy at night" group next to us who had dogs off leash the whole weekend (nobody onsite to call and report it to), and the bathrooms were not the cleanest. Luckily, we have a full bath in our camper, so that we weren't too bothered. We will definitely come back to bring our boat to fish, and try out another area of the park for variety. Will definitely be back!

We LOVED this campground! It's right on the lake and just overall terrific.

We had campsite 38 which is next to just one other site and a HUGE field on the other. Perfect for the boys to run around and play football.

We definitely will return here.

Burn ban…but not really. They had a large sign out touting a Williamson County burn ban, handed us a yellow piece of paper with details about the Williamson County burn ban, and even stopped by the site to make sure we knew there was a burn ban. It has rained literally every day for 3 weeks so I was confused. After spending the weekend without fire, I contacted Williamson County only to learn there is no burn ban. If it was a Granger Lake burn ban or Army Corps burn ban, ok, tell us that, but to tout false information is ridiculous.
