Plenty of wildlife to see beautiful camp grounds

The only issue we had was that using the bathhouse was like being in a sauna. There needs to be some additional ventilation in the heat.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were on site #48 that was full shade and was great! Beautiful lake view with sun rise just across the lake. We used our e-bikes around the large ccampground and saw a lot of deer snd turkeys. We had water and electric and used the dump on way out.

Very nice. Many deer and turkeys. Different from many COE campgrounds, it is fairy lose to town. A good park for cycling.

This is a lovely location and not real crowded. The bathrooms were clean and the check-in folks were all very friendly and helpful.

The Northern most showers are so hot it burns your skin. And on this trip the southern most restroom had no water.

Started out with a water problem. Two new pumps installed at the park left the water lines not primed. All worked well before we left. Lucked out with the weather. Beautiful days cool nights for Texas at the end of July anyway. Camp gate folks are great. Always glad to see us. Park ranger came by and was very helpful with the water situation and made sure we were having no problems. This is a great COE park.

I have been camping at Holiday park for many years with my family. I have noticed that the park has become run down. It needs mowing I was worried about snakes with my grandchildren. I had to move campsites because our table was bench was broken. The lady that runs the front is the rudist lady that has ever worked for this park. Our whole family has stated that she has made rude remarks as weve entered the park. I also walked to the waters edge with my 2 little grandbabies with their childrens fishing poles and a ranger told me I couldnt sit at a campsite with them that I didnt rent. I explained I rented the one directly across I was just letting them fish for a minute. I have one more stay reserved for the year and I will be finding another park for our families camping. Im not gonna camp somewhere that treats its customers like this.

I paid for water and electricity at my site, multiple days the water was off and on. Most of the time the water lines were full of pressurized air (which is very hard to rv plumbing) and there was no notice when the park was turning water off or when it would be back on. There was no mention of planned maintenance when booking my site. There was a person camped near me that had a different car "visiting" every day I was there. Definitely seemed nefarious. And one of the staff members, a female, was very rude. Overall, the campground is nice, but the experience was not fully nice.

We love this park and have stayed here multiple times. The sites are clean and spacious. It is a peaceful place with serene morning sunrises and colorful sunsets.

Was a very good campsite other than the fact of a lot of ants everywhere and spiders on top of had a hornet the size of my palm inside my tint when I was going to bed.

We really liked the site we had next to the water. The restrooms need some work and get hot during the day so we used them in the morning or late evening. The staff are always very polite and friendly. The city of Benbrook is close by and has plenty of fast food restaurants. If you bring your bicycles you can ride around the lake and hook up with the trinity trails which will take you to downtown Ft Worth. There is also a stable with horseback riding in Benbrook

We always have a great stay at this park. The light bulb above the shelter door is out and probably needs to be replaced.

Planned to stay overnight and leave on my way truck overheated needed to find a mechanic asked a neighbor camped next to me which he called Friday evening. Extended my stay to find out no one could help. Had to extend my day even longer the volunteers helped moved to a different camp site. My Senior Pass is well used understand that I could get a replacement at Benbrook Park from the gate attendant. Went by and inquired the attendant refused to issue a Senior Pass. Told her that that gate attendant could do that just fill out some paperwork pay a fee she still refused.

We have been camping at Holiday park for more than 30 years. My kids were young when we started camping and now they're in their mid 30's and have kids of their own. This is a great park for camping with the whole family or just my husband and I. This is a great place to relax and unwind. If you're more active it's also a great for biking, kayaking, boating and fishing. Holiday park is one of our families favorite places to camp.

Beautiful camp ground! Goes right to the water to swim or fish

The setting was great, and the pad was level on space 25. The closest bathroom should have been leveled and replaced years ago. Grass really needed mowing, but that said, the price was right and its close. Overall we were happy to stay there. Also one of the two dump stations was out of order.

When had a shelter spot #61, it needs a little repair on door and blinds and screens. The new restrooms are great, they could use some type of ventilation fan its very hot. Overall our stay was wonderful!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
