Well, Ive been exclusively camping at COE campgrounds for 25 years, Ive camped in COE campgrounds in 9 states, 5 just in Texas. So why the 3 stars grass was knee high everywhere, 24 I measured it, never seen a COE campground that overgrown. Secondly the camp hosts were friendly but were forced to enforce the 3pm check in rule3pm not 2:50pm but 3pm. They have a special parking lot for early arrivals. You will need to bring multiple leveling devices lumber, blocks and a masters degree in RV leveling. On the plus the deer, turkeys are plentiful. The north campground was quiet. Lots to see and eat in the Metroplex area.

What a lovely spot. Lots of space between sites. Sadly, lots of trash either washed up or left on the beach. Cleaning up was a good Earth Day project for us and our grandkids. It's not the parks fault.

Holiday is a pretty and quiet campground. There are a lot of mature trees and bird activity. We enjoyed the peaceful nature of this campground.

The campsite is great. The lake is beautiful. The bathroom situation is terrible. 4 individual toilet/showers for over 100 campsites is downright unsanitary. Im surprised that the health department hasnt closed them down.

I have always had a great time at both Holiday and Bear Creek parks.

Very nice folks with a nice selection of wine. The breeze up on the hill was nice and cool all evening. I hope to return there next time I pass through that town.

Very friendly and helpful gatehouse staff. The site had quite an incline but easily able to level the travel trailer. I enjoyed the view and the large spaces between sites.

Nice COE campground really close to the urban life of Ft. Worth. We picked up our camper after some warranty work and wanted to make sure everything worked. It was nice to be close to the dealer to do this. The campground was neat, freshly mowed and had nice spacing between sites. The men's bathroom was shut down on the north side, but was available on the south side. All other amenities and hookups worked as designed.

We had a really great time here. The site was super spacious and being right by the water made it even better. definitely the best part of the trip!The only hiccup was with the grass and mowing. When we got there, the grass was pretty tall, and then on our second morning a mowing crew showed up out of nowhere and started mowing our site while we were eating breakfast. It kicked up a bunch of dust all over everything. They did apologize, which we appreciated, but it would be nice if mowing could be scheduled when sites arent occupied.Other than that, we had a great stay and would come back.

Park is nice and clean . We did have a bad experience with a ranger that was rude to my husband and wanted to fight him. My husband didnt know that he cannot park under the tree. He rudely shouted at my husband to move it. My husband was upset about how he talked to him. The ranger should be more respectful and polite in asking. This is our first time to camp there and we didnt need the bad attitude from a staff.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
