Campground is close to Fort Worth (20 miles) and near Benbrook, TX where there are lots of options for shopping, dining, etc. Be prepared for noisy neighbors on the weekends and aware of the fact that the gates are locked at 10pm nightly. T-Mobile coverage for 5G Home Internet worked great. Tried to extend my stay past the 14 night within 30 day limit (I live/work remotely and it's a convenient location for me near DFW and my Public Storage space) ... I was denied, even though the campground was nearly empty - just FYI. Will stay here again because of it's location and price.

Great location close to plenty of shopping, restaurants and more. Nice staff. Steve and the two rangers were very professional and nice. The new bathroom is very nice and clean. The old bathroom needs to be updated. Fantastic roads for walking and biking. Pads and hookups are okay. Only negative was that during the weekend, locals come to party and some are very loud with obnoxious music. Overall, a good experience.

Would have been excellent except for a self-appointed security patrol calling himself “Sarge” with his “ trained attack dog”. He slept in or stayed in the public bathroom a lot! Complaints to the park rangers produced no measurable results.

Wide range of sites, most are spacious. Big park. Hope to go back when traveling through.

Great people running the campsite. Always giving us a map with the quickest route to our campsite and explaining the emergency routes and where to go in case of an emergency.

Very quiet park and clean. The check-in staff at the front gate was very professional, helpful, and fast. Will stay here again.
