Glee enjoy going to this park because it is nearby. We wish there were more 50 amp sites, and that they would redo the bathroom closest to the entry gate. The grass had just recently been mowed, but you could tell it had been tall. We had been getting rain frequently prior though. Its a nice park to just chill and walk around. The lake had water on this trip, and I regretted not taking my kayak. Hopefully it will still have water i. July:)

Wonderful place to visit. Close to HEB, and the historic downtown. The showers and bathrooms are in need of repair. The shower curtains are ripped and one, there is not a shower curtain. The mirror, you cannot see yourself in it. Great place, but the bathrooms are in need of repair pretty bad.

Our chosen site (24) did not have working electric, and the first option they offered us had a dumpster at the end of the drive. Not sure why anyone would want a dumpster right at their campsite. We were able to move to a more acceptable site, (31) so it worked out. Biggest reason for the 2 star rating is that the restrooms were not cleaned at all over the length of our stay (5 days) and they did not appear to have been cleaned recently. The shower curtains in the women's restroom should have been replaced long ago, and one of the two showers only stayed on for about 5 seconds at a time.

clean & well kept park. Really like the new electric pedestals & 50 amp also !
