Nice and relaxing.

Beautiful campground on the Lake. No sewer hookups may limit your stays, but we usually stay for 4 or 5 days because of the location when we must see our doctors. After spending a day with doctors it is so relaxing to sit out in the relatively quiet and enjoy the view.

Camping was such a refreshing and peaceful experience. Being surrounded by nature, away from all the noise and stress of everyday life, really helped me relax and recharge. The fresh air, the sound of birds, and sitting by the campfire at night made everything feel calm and simple.Setting up the tent was a bit of work, but it was worth it once everything was ready. Cooking outdoors and sleeping under the stars made the whole trip feel like an adventure. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view and quiet surroundings was one of the best parts.Overall, camping is a great way to disconnect from technology and reconnect with yourself or the people youre with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a break and a little adventure.

Overall nice stay. Park needs some TLC. Trees need trimming around the enterance to some sites, most site pads need repair. At least its not as BAD as Lavonia Park not yet. Wish people would watch their speed in park, suppose to be 10 mph, not 30 mph plus. Gate people are very nice and helpful.

Was offered a better spot (by the lake) upon arrival. Place was very clean.

Nice, spacious sites with beautiful lake views. It would be nicer if there were concrete pads but still a great place to camp. Friendly staff at the entrance.

Nice place. I had a problem with the 30amp outlet and the maintenance guy changed it right away.

The park is wonderful. It was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and had an ample supply of toilet paper. We were able to use one of the grills there to cook from. I would use Recreation. gov to book park again.

This was a very nice campground and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didnt like was that it wasnt full hook up. We only stayed one night so it wasnt bad. At least there was a dump station. We would probably stay here again. The grounds people were very friendly.

The campsite was clean and we had a great view of the sunset. We camp here several times a year and plan to continue.

We had a nice time here. It was very open. I would have preferred more trees but overall we had a nice time. Restrooms were maintained.

This was the second time we stayed here. Both times we have stayed 2 weeks. It is a very nice campground. Huge open sites. Our site had a great view of the lake. The grass is mowed on a regular basis and this place is very nicely taken care of. We like the asphalt pad. There is a huge table, cover, and grill there at the sites. However, the spiders are terrible. Webs everywhere and so we didn't sit outside. Also, the gate is interesting. It is locked from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. We appreciate the safety there, however, you can't get back in if you are out during those times. Park your vehicle outside the gate and walk a long way to your site. It would be nice if the gate would be open with a code. All that being said, we would definitely come here for a third and more time. Thank you for having such a lovely campground!

This is a pleasant place, with views of the lake and big campsites, but there are loads of spiders inside the electrical boxes and the bathrooms are prehistoric. The Army Corps needs to put some resources into the campground to rehab The office & restrooms and clean it up some all around.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating however, sites were a mud pit. Rained one week before we arrived. Sunk my trailer to the axels. Had to get moved to a different site. All sites had a tree however branches protruded into pad area. Had to drive on grass to avoid damaging trailer while backing in. Dump station is outside park and a real hassle since there are no full hook ups. Would not recommend.

Although not having full hookups requires extra work to stay the couple of weeks allowed and 10am - 10pm car access sometimes makes life a little more challenging with morning workouts and family get togethers, this is still our favorite place to stay when we come to visit family in Dallas. It has just the right number of trees and green grass everywhere and SPACE from neighbors. It has a rural feel but with the city right there. Water pressure is great, 50 AMP reliable and fairly level sites (although #26 presented some challenges) and they have a dump station right at the entrance of the park which we used once a week to dump tanks (using a bladder). Camp hosts are all the sweetest kindest and most reliable people you could wish for. Thank you for many great stays!

They need to have a gate code. You enter the park after 10pm or before 10am. Makes it very difficult to enjoy time outside the park. It also needs more showers. Has plenty of bathrooms. Otherwise everything was good. Nice lake views.

The grounds were clean and the utilities at our assigned camp area worked well. The common toilets and showers need repair and maintenance though. We enjoyed walking around the lake area and the area seemed safe and secure so no worries at night.

Got locked out after 10pm. Gate did not reopen until 10am. Delayed the start of my trip for 3 hours. No need for a gate, what are you protecting anyway? Will not stay here again. I am 70 years old and don't need a curfew!

The experience itself was wonderful. I went with my friend and my two children. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We stayed at T-01. Plenty of space. View of Lavon is great. It was cool to have a piece of beach and a little walking path in the woods. We had a fire ring and grate to cook on which was helpful. My only issue was that the charcoal grill was missing the inner piece. So we couldn't put food in it without having it directly on charcoal. There was an INSANE amount of spiders. Obviously this is camping I get that, but wow. Ive never see this many in one area. Not even 24 hours there we had seen a crazy amount of spider species- including 2 black widows. The other harmless ones were giant and repelling from the trees we were making the best of it but gosh! It was a bit much for Nov camping lol. Id still maybe go again, in Jan/Feb

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
