This park has potential to be incredible but is obviously neglected. What a shame. Bathroom roof leaks, grass not kept mowed, roads are terrible, many potholes. Day use area looks ran down, in need of repairs. The covered picnic tables are very nice. It was quiet and peaceful.

Had a nice weekend even though it rained on Saturday. Campsite was good, maybe need to keep grass areas mowed. Bathrooms were clean for the most part, but the wife decided to shower in travel trailer due to no hot water in one of the stalls and there was only one other one available but in use. Roads and RV/TT parking pavement needs improvement,If you are camping over the weekend, We would definitely suggest you arriving early due to Awful traffic coming from the Lucas area.On a Good Note, the live in park attendant was very welcoming and helpful in giving us information on the Clear Lake and a couple of other parks at Lake Lavon. We left early (due to more rainstorms) and was actually contacted by Her. She wanted to confirm we checked out early, and after confirming she gave us a partial refund! This is definitely a plus for this park. Keep up the Good work and keep pushing to improve Clear Lake Park!

This was a nice and peaceful place to spend a few days. I enjoyed watching all the birds on the lake. The Camp Hosts do a great job.I hope to come back

Electricity poles were intermittently working we had to move twice. Our first site 18 power poles quit working so they moved us to site 1, then site 1 also started having power issues of intermittently working. They had 18 repaired so we moved back to 18. A hassel moving back and forth. Everything else was ok. Bathrooms and showers could use updating.

Our site was clean and ready for our use. Internet and phone service was available.Roads could use improvement, but basically the same for the last 10 years or so. Park hosts are friendly and are helpful above and beyond when needed.

I love this campsite and Ive been to it quite a few times. The restrooms are clean and Anne, the host, is an absolute doll. Her spouse is one of integrity and family (for those military service members and their spouses). This site is less than 10 minutes from my house. Ive been to ones as far north as New Hampshire and Maine. I love this site and your safety is of their optimist importance. P.s yes you have reception and GORGEOUS views of the lake

GO ELSEWHERE! This park is not well maintained. The blacktop pad was in horrible shape. If you walked outside your camper, you better watch where you step or you'll be stumbling. The picnic table was full of something sticky that had been spilled. It was also covered in chalk "artwork". The women's bathroom... yuck!!! 3 toilets. One was full of toilet paper and S**T, it was obvious by the toilet paper on the floor that it had overflowed. It was like this for 2 days. The shower......... no shower head in one shower, turn it on the water ran down the wall. The 2nd shower had a soda bottle with the bottom cut out, taped to where the shower head should have been. The woman that comes around to check you in was obviously on a power trip. Check in was fine. She said she locks the entry gate at 10pm and doesn't unlock it until 10AM! Other COE parks also locked the gate at 10pm, but they were unlocked by 7AM.. Several sites were obviously seasonal sites and not well kept. I warned you... :-) I wish i had taken photos...

Cannot give this location enough stars. By far my favorite COE park. The host was terrific. The park and location were great. Camping is seperate from day use so no excessive traffic. Day use area was pretty run down. Looks like a good area for boats and fishing

Very nice campground. Restrooms could use some updating but then, you dont spend your whole time in the restrooms (hopefully not!)

The people running the park were working under serious difficulties. The water was off, they were being told the park would close. They kept up their professionalism and integrity. I say, "Give them a raise!"

We love this location! Negatives, the roads, parts of the campsite need fixing. Lack of privacy is our biggest negative. We plan to come back since its our favorite spot.

Could be a really nice campground. Sites are spacious and outer loop sites have beautiful lake views and access. Hook ups were good and cell signal was strong. Our firepit grate was broken. Roads inside the park are terrible with crumbling asphalt and abundant potholes. Our site had many bits of trash from a previous camper: cigarette butts, broken bits of plastic and metal, a large plastic bag down the hill toward the lake with leftover food and trash in it. Trees along our pad needed trimming for us to park our fifth wheel without scratching the sides. There is a dump station but the road to it is blocked by trees. In our 6 days there, we never saw anyone at the gatehouse. Perhaps funding is down and they are unable to tackle some capital improvements like the roads, but service from hosts/employees could definitely be improved.

The showers need serious attention. Roof vents and no heat make it ice cold on a cold day. The sprayers provide only a very narrow stream of water. The exit gate needs some leveling. The good? Hosts keep track of people coming in and out and the sites are very large with many beautiful views.

The grass was mowed and the park was clean. The boat ramp was in good repair and wide enough for 2 and possibly 3 launches at the same time. Hosts were friendly. Groceries and gas are about 10 to 15 minutes away which we found to be convenient. We'll be coming back, we enjoyed our stay.

This is a hidden gem. The lake is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. Some of the spaces have deep tire ruts so it is difficult to get the jacks down on flat ground. We were in space 7 and it was perfect with a view of the lake and plenty of room for us to include our family to cook out

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
