Except for high grass in some areas of our campsite everything else was very good. The weather and wind cooperated too. Winner trip.

The location is gorgeous. Our site was right along the water. The issue is the drive way into the campground and the pads for the sites. They are both in horrible condition. We had to move our motorhome several times on our pad due to the pad just giving away under our jacks. It was difficult to stay level. There is shopping nearby. Avoid the GPS map as it will take you down a road with a railroad track that will cause you to bottom out. We had a horrible windstorm while there (no fault of the campground). Several RVs received damage and one actually flipped over 360 degrees. Very scary.

Low voltage issues at 2 different campsites. Damaged my AC, even with Hughes Power Watchdog Dogbone. Same thing happened this weekend to my camping neighbors in their Airstream. Aug 3rd. AC breaker kept tripping at odd times, not just heat of the day. Monitoring the power via the bluetooth connection on the Power watchdog allowed me to troubleshoot, but it was too late. Sent the family home due to unreliable AC in the Texas heat.

Very spacious FHU site. The lake and the views are spectacular. The host was great. The interior roads are a disaster. The gate locking is a problem.

They locked the gate to the boat ramp and campers could not get in there before they unlocked it at 10:00. Nobody was at the gate to assist people.

Spacious functional sites right in n the lake. Bath houses had frozen in an unusual cold snap so they were closed but we enjoyed our stay

Cold shower and bathroom area. Water was lukewarm at best. Think well stay at East Fork from now on. The hosts at East Fork are much more personable and friendly also.

Dirty restrooms, no TP, run down facility, very rough road at entrance.

Very spacious sites! Beautiful scenery and amenities were convenient from restrooms to the dumpsters. Each site has a covered picnic area with a grill and fire pit. The couple whom ran the place were so pleasant and were happy to answer the questions to your every need. Love the place so much we booked another day then another after our initial checkout on Monday to checking out Thursday. Great place to visit and stay a couple days or so. Full hook ups what more can you ask for!

The wife and I did a tent outing and had the greatest time. Nothing like having bacon, eggs, toast, and hot coffee in the morning while experiencing such a wonderful wakeup view of the sun rising up over the lake. Very relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while.

It was wonderful to see the grass mowed!!! We have been 3 other times this year and this was the first time we didn't have to push mow our campsite!! The new camp host Kendra has been so nice! Randy is a volunteer and he has always been nice to talk to!

Wonderful place, beautiful surroundings. Only the toilets and showers not so great. They were dirty.

Beautiful location well kept grounds. Women's showers filthy with bugs and cobwebs all over. Water pressure extremely hard.
