Hosts were very friendly and accommodating however, sites were a mud pit. Rained one week before we arrived. Sunk my trailer to the axels. Had to get moved to a different site. All sites had a tree however branches protruded into pad area. Had to drive on grass to avoid damaging trailer while backing in. Dump station is outside park and a real hassle since there are no full hook ups. Would not recommend.

The place itself is a must destination, you can swimming at lake. Fishing, kayaking, in a boat can Fishing, swimming , surf, have a night at fire

Very nice campground with nice big sites for RVs. Spacious shower and bathroom with plenty of hooks and a bench to hold your stuff. Staff that man the entrance gate were very friendly. Overall it was a great place to stay while visiting friends in the area, with one exception. One of the camp hosts dogs barked incessantly whenever anyone drove or walked by their site, which was pretty often. Id recommend getting a site as far from the entrance to the campground as you can get so you wont hear it as much as we did on site number 2.

Being the middle of March, during a very cold and windy period in the Dallas Texas area, it was less than pleasant. Not the fault of the campground because it was a convenient place to stay while we visited friends in Wylie.

Enjoyed my stay as usual except this time there were people going the wrong way and nobody ever let them know they were going the wrong way.

Roads were a little rough but people were nice and the park was clean

Everything was nice except the road coming in. There were so many potholes that were very deep that I thought I could get vehicle damage.

The roads entering the park are in terrible shape as they have been for far to long. The loop road is also in need of repairs. I sure wish there were sewer connections at the sites. That addition would make this rating a 5.

Sites are spaced sparsely so it feels vey private. The pads are very close to level side to side, front to back so it was very easy getting in. Electrical and water hookups in great condition. The roads are very bad however. Since there is no sewer hook up, dragging our portable to the dump was very difficult over all the potholes. The Park folks were so nice and very apologetic over the road conditions which were clearly out of their control. Nice view of the lake, although were there during a very cold spell, we'd bet it's fantastic in the summer!
