A lot of wide open space and the blue bonnets were blooming. Very pretty and flat.. Easy in and out. We love all AC campgrounds.

This campground is beautiful, and the hosts were welcoming. We reserved a spot as a simple overnight respite while traveling from West Texas to East Texas. We were delighted at the calm and peaceful surroundings. We had a pull-through site with full hook-ups so set up was easy. The only drawback is that we didn't have time to spend more days here. We would gladly return. Make sure the lake level is up if you are interested in using the swim area.

This is a beautiful campground. Oak trees are plentiful through the park. All the sites are well taken care of easy to set up in. I was on the lake and was able to slip my Kayak right into the lake. Even during Easter weekend the park was not full. I have made reservations for the middle of May.

Love camping at this park. So much wildlife and it is so serene there. They keep it pretty maintained and the shower and bathrooms are pretty clean. Only thing is that shower head where you have to lean into it to get water to spray out. We both learned not to dry off in the shower with our towels, because you might accidently spray yourself if you get too close to the showerhead sensor! LOL!

This is one of our favorites! We only live about an hour away so super convenient. Lakeside is on of the nicest, well kept and cleanest COEs weve been to. We highly recommend it, truly a hidden jewel!

The staff was very friendly. When the gate was damaged they repair was done the next day with no interference with daily life. The area was well maintained and the power never went out.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended twice and stayed the maximum 14 days. This is a beautiful campground. The sites are spacious with shelters over the picnic tables. We didnt feel crowded at all. It was pretty empty until the Easter weekend, when it really filled up. But even then it wasnt terribly loud. There are two dumping stations, which were helpful. We ride our bikes over the dam and explored the area near Flatrock Campground, which was closed. We saw lots and lots of deer every evening. I was glad to see that they are indeed wary of humans, and was disappointed to see several campers putting out food for them. The wildflowers were just coming into full bloom. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets from our site as well as from the dam. We appreciated the help we got from some of the men who were working on a project. We needed a wrench to get the light in my husbands bike secured. They took him to a work area and got him a wrench the right size. So nice. If I could change anything, it would be that all of the bathhouses would be open. We stopped at one and the only thing open for women was the showers. At the one closest to where we were, there were no locks for the showers. That can be uncomfortable. But all were well stocked and cleaned often. It was pretty relaxing and we didnt even fish!

I'll start by saying we've stayed at the park in the past and always enjoy our time there. This last time we stayed at 15C, it's supposed to have 50amp service. From the time we got there we weren't able to run all our AC's, eventually the lights started dimming and none of our AC units would run. By the time we left i had to plug into my truck to move slides and hook on to my truck. We we're thinking we had camper issues so we didn't say anything but when we got home Sunday i plugged into my 50 amp service at home and everything worked great. Not sure what happened with the power at that location but it made for a bad weekend of camping..

We really enjoyed Hordes Creek. We were at lot #44. Easy to park. Only issue was some overhanging dead trees but it was March so I'm sure trimming hadn't yet occurred. The women's bathroom closest to us had broken pipes but the other 2 restrooms were clean and taken care of. All had good water pressures including the showers. First time here and we will definitely be back. Folks at the front gate were very friendly and helpful.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
