This is our second trip to Lakeside Park. The sites have been excellent! Clean and level. Make sure that you pick a shaded one and you should enjoy your stay!

The place could have been mowed before the long weekend. We also had trouble with water pressure coming and going.

Super clean, nice distance between camping spots, cement picnic tables and beautiful wildlife. We travel between Lubbock and Houston often and definitely plan on staying again.

The park itself was great. Spacious sites but there were ants. Lots of ants that got into our trailer everywhere. They were Argentine ants. When we got home we had to take everything out of the trailer and have pest control come spray it. Park needs to spray for them!!

We have been to this park several times and love it. Spacious sites, well-maintained. Plenty of space to walk. Saw many deer. We will be back!

The folks who attend the park are fantastic. They help make this a special COE campground. And the grounds are beautiful and clean. Quiet and dark sky nights.

This camp site was wonderful. It has full hookup and the scenery was beautiful! It was not crowded and it was wonderful to see other families making memories together. We enjoyed having a covered picnic table at our site. We had our dog with us and there was a lot of area to walk her. We will return!

The site was paved and level. Gras had a few stickers which my dogs found. The water faucet was covered in ants. They came up my water hose and into my rig.

This is a really nice location for kicking back and enjoying a peaceful location. Its not crowded but always has a decent number of folks scattered about. Nice lake for kayak and shore fishing. This was our second visit and both sites have been A+ with regards to size, level, and fits our 39 travel trailer.The gate attendants are always very nice and helpful. Thank you for a very positive visit.

We love visiting Hords Creek Lake and Campground. Our four legged fur babies have a grand time! The rv spots are great and provide level ground and great shade. Floyd is a wonderful host. We are sad to hear that he's retiring but wish him all the best.

We havent been to Hords Creek in many years. We called and Chuck took the time to walk us through all of the sites that would work for our RV and recommend sites that fit what we were looking for. We decided spur of the moment to drive up and spend the night. Chuck gave us excellent directions. He is a true asset. We will stay here again. Fishing from the bank was ok. The park exceptionally clean. The only recommendation we could make is that they 50A to more sites.

Great park - Trees all around the dam area where 50amp sites are need to be cut much higher and back off roads to accommodate the bigger 5th wheel rvs like we have

Very large. Roads can get confusing. So many unique sites. The group sites you can bring in all your rigs in your own lot. They all have an enclosed shelters. The enclosed shelters they have are great. Like little cabins. All enclosed some with screens and others with glass. Each of them have their own firepit. All in the trees. Some face the lake others face the trees. At their own end of the campground on a dead end. So very private and quiet. All the sites had a covered shelter. The only thing I didnt like once it got dark the mosquitoes came out in force. My site #1 was on the lake close to the bathroom. Even heard a pack of coyotes that came by to talk to each other. Lots of deer wandering through the park. The bathrooms were cleaned and stocked. Being by the water there was some spiders in the corner. Which is normal.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
