Love Hordes Creek but tree maintenance is falling behind. Our 45 rig had problems negotiating the tress at the entrance and exit. Our site was even worse. I know money is tight but making sure campers dont get damaged by overgrown trees seem to me would be a priority

We come to this campground several times per year. Very clean. Always a great experience.

The campground were good. The lack of heating in the restrooms and shower areas has always been a problem for me at this park but I try and make do with it. The open window in the toilet had a great breeze blowing through for the winter weather experience. Brrrr!!!!

Weve been many many times and love this park. However this trip was different as there is a new gate attendant ,Roger, who was very rude.

We always enjoy our stay at Lakeside and have yet to be disappointed. Its always clean and well maintained. Beautiful views, amazing number of deer, and a quiet spaces always makes for a relaxing time. The city of Coleman is a short distance away and offers some great dining and fun shops to wander through. Theres even a small grocery store an hardware store if youve forgotten anything.

The site itself was very nice. We had reserved for 4 nights. We had a medical emergency after 2 nights and had to go back home. I tried and tried to cancel the last 2 nights on-line but could not figure out how to do so.Please make your website more user friendly.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Electricity, water and sewer all work exactly as they should. Campsites are kept clean, grass is mowed regularly. This is our favorite campground.

The place could have been mowed before the long weekend. We also had trouble with water pressure coming and going.

Super clean, nice distance between camping spots, cement picnic tables and beautiful wildlife. We travel between Lubbock and Houston often and definitely plan on staying again.

The park itself was great. Spacious sites but there were ants. Lots of ants that got into our trailer everywhere. They were Argentine ants. When we got home we had to take everything out of the trailer and have pest control come spray it. Park needs to spray for them!!
@LauraK9305494 · Camped on Oct 3, 2025 at Campsite #T44
We have been to this park several times and love it. Spacious sites, well-maintained. Plenty of space to walk. Saw many deer. We will be back!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
