Chuck (in office) was very helpful. He was great. A couple of the outside workers were also great, they came and cut the grass around our camper. A woman in the office just told me the grass cutters would be there in a week. The grass was pretty tall. Other than that, I love that place and will be back.

This is a very nice place to camp and enjoy yourself. The lake is beautiful, and the campgrounds well maintained. We have been here many times and will keep coming back. I think the only issue I saw was the trees at many spots need to be trimmed back. We have a 45 ft 5tth wheel and have had scratches done by the overhanging trees for the parking spots.

We love coming to this lake. I am glad that it has caught some water. I do wish that they would do some repairs on the fishing pier. Otherwise it is a beautiful place.

We always look for a place to camp that is quiet, away from the hectic overpopulated town in which we live and Lakeside fit the bill to a T. We are strongly considering going back early next year (2025). Park is enormous with "elbow" room between each site. You can get a shaded spot or full sun. A very nice campground to kick back and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Hords Creek corps of engineer park is a great park to visit. As we have a motorhome, we always chose the lakeside camping loops with full hook-ups. The sites are spacious, level, well maintained and have a covered picnic table and bbq pit. There are lots of roads to walk, fishing and boating (though the lake is very low now). Its a great place to gather with friends. Or to just go to relax and enjoy, especially the sunsets. A big thumbs up for this park

The trees need to be trimmed back a lot - we stayed in the 50 Amp sites along the dam and limbs drug all along the side & roof of our unit....we purchased loppers from local store and cut some enough to back out as going forward was not possible with all the trees so low along the exit road along the dam

We love the peaceful vibe at Hords. My only suggestion would be that they mow more frequently. It was pretty overgrown in some areas but most campsites looked fairly well mowed. Very nice Park Hosts.

We camp at Hords Creek Lakeside on a regular basis. The campground is well maintained and the hosts have always been friendly and helpful. We ride our e-bikes around the park and watch the wildlife.

Beautiful view of the lake however our site did not have a fire ring. Loved all the shade from the trees

Enjoyed the scenery and site had full hook ups. Some spots need additional tree trimming for the newer and taller 5th shells and motorhomes

A lovely park! The RV sites are spacious, level, with trees and well separated from ones neighbors. The park is well maintained, lots of areas to walk and hike, and a lake for fishing and swimming. A great park to enjoy!
