Wonderful site...close to the water and the views are excellent! Low-no cell service (AT&T/Pure Talk). My only complaint for this trip are the restrooms/showers. Wow. They have obviously NOT paid much attention to the restrooms/showers in the park in a little while. I've been to this park several times over the years and have never seen their restrooms/showers in this condition. Other than that, the park personnel were wonderful, the site itself was outstanding, and our experience was exactly what we were hoping for; restful, peaceful, and memorable.

My favorite COE campground. From great attendants to beautiful oak trees and big site, you just cant beat it.

Large campsites. Very quiet. Great star gazing. Lots of deer.

One of the nicest, cleanest spots I've been to.

We had heard great things about Hords Creek Lake. Everything was great. My kids loved seeing the wildlife. We loved every second of it!

Awesome place great site. Easy access in and out. Clean park. Nice view. Sewer dump was a bit nasty, the waste bubbled up through the pipe.

The higher numbered sites are spaced well apart. The lower numbered sites are closer but still acceptable. Level and paved, various lengths. Due to the railings and boulders around the sites and trees shading them, care is needed backing in. ATT and Verizon are very poor here. There is a day use area adjacent to the park, several boat ramps and a couple of fishing piers. Wonderfully quiet, lots of wildlife. Coleman is a great small town - stop in at the Owl Drug and Soda Shop for good sandwiches and a root beer float.

Our trailer would not fit under the hanging branches over the site pad. We tried several times to back in but the branches were scraping the top of the trailer. When trying to cancel the site on the app, it would not process the cancellation so we ended up paying for two separate sites for the weekend. We were fortunate to be able to reserve a site and stay for the weekend instead of having to leave, but not being able to cancel the site was a disappointment.
