The park was beautiful and overall peaceful however when it can to the bathrooms.. worst experience of my life. No lights after dark, never clean, toilets were never flushed, and at one point there was blood everywhere literally I mean it was on the floors, walls, toilet paper, toilet. The mens room was fine my father and husband said it was pretty clean. But the womens.. the people who actually have to sit down.. it was horrible. Other than that, everything else was amazing the grounds were liter free and everyone listened to quite hours.

The park facilities were great. The only issue is its still under construction and there was no boat ramp, but I would recommend camping there. Also the river was amazing tfor kayaking!

The campground was great with easy access and beautiful sites. The downside was that construction crews were working on the road over the river. Close to the State dinosaur site. I would definitely come again and recommend the COE

Nice campground with friendly host. The boat ramp is closed and maybe closed for some time due to the new bridge and removal of the old bridge across the river. Hopefully the construction will be completed soon. This has been going on for a couple of years.

Be sure and bring plenty of water cook with or drink the water coming out of faucet seems very cloudy and almost soapy like good for cleaning dishes and bathroom but thats it. The view over the river is amazing and park keeper is awesome and lots of friendly occupants we always meet incredible people.

The campsites were great. However the restrooms were gross and there is no light in them. It was dark and dreary.

Our campsite was very clean and had a great view of the lake. Bathrooms were very clean. A negative was no one to great us when we arrived or left. It being our first time there we were not sure of the check in procedure. We enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

The stay there for us was 14 days. The location was great. The showers could use repairing the shower heads. Most are just missing the washer and are not fastened tightly. the host was great and always concerned with my stay in this park. The cell phone signal is 2 bars if you have AT&T. This degradation is hard to correct and amplify at this lower level. Quiet and great for fishing. All in all, I would recommend this campsite.

Great views and location could use some ground maintenance mowing and such.. pulling a fifth wheel through the park was challenging due to many overhanging trees that desperately need attention throughout the roadways

Finding that COE PARKS has no consistency whatsoever in one park will not let you in until a designated time others have a gate guards and some has no gate guard at all. The grass was extremely high close to river saw several snakes near a large wood pile. Ant beds near the electrical pedestal. The entrance was mowed but pass the entrance and RV sites had not been mowed in some time.

Way over grown, could not walk out of camp area stickers everywhere. Brush piled everywhere we didnt even stay we just packed up and left. They really have this this park go down hill

Grass was well over 1 tall and there were broken tree branches everywhere. Clean the place up before opening sections please!!! Raise the rental cost a couple of bucks to pay for it if necessary but we should not have to bring our own lawn mowers to cut the grass just to walk to see our friends.

I have been to this park several times with a group we camp with often. We love the park for quick get-a-ways with it being close to home. On this trip, we had the clear dead tree limbs from our sites, and then we had to mow the four spots we had booked because the grass was so tall. The park attendant said there was some issue with the contract for the grass cutting. After we mowed our spots and got camp set up, we constantly heard tree limbs breaking off and falling to the ground around us, which caused concern for the large dead limbs above the RV's, and the fact that we were all sitting under the shade of the trees. I don't think I have ever been on a camping trip where we had to discuss and escape plan if you hear tree limbs breaking above you.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
