I would have given five stars rating if they had lights in the restrooms.

Had a great time site was shaded fall was starting to arrive. Warm days cool nights good times.

The site we booked hadn't been mowed in who know how long. The area that our RV was to be parked on was completely obscured by grass and weeks that were 8 inches tall at least. The area around the site and under the picnic table cover were also overgrown to the point that walking in them would be a risk to insect bites and snakes would have a great place to hide. The park rangers blamed the Corp for hiring contractors that poorly maintained the sites for campers. The only sites that were mowed were ones that campers themselves had brought in mowers and weed-eaters to clean up themselves. The area around the dump station had weeds that were knee high ( I am 5'6" for reference). It is ridiculous that the park had not been prepared for a holiday weekend stay.

Nicequiet setting along the Brazos River. There wrer very strong winds during our visit so bat traffic on the river was miniml.Sites were level and well maintained. Restrooms need to be updated but were generally clean.

As usual, this place is clean, quiet and very relaxing. Full of friendly people to meet. My wife has a wonderful time painting outside in the serene surroundings.

We love to camp here and have camped here many times in the past 10 years. The campsites are well maintained. I only gave 4 stars because the bathroom facilities are not maintained over the weekend. The weekend was muddy. By the end of the weekend the floors were very muddy and the tp supply had dwindled. There isnt any soap or towels supplied in the bathrooms. I usually bring a bottle of hand soap and leave it in the bathroom for all to use. The shower on one side didnt have hot water but the other side did. The toilets leak and the septic tank bans up thru the drain when it has been raining. But in spite of all that we love to camp here. The sites are large with plenty of room between sites.
