Site 25 has a beautiful view of the lake. Really liked that each campsite has a covered picnic table. There is a nice playground for kids. The boat ramp is closed and there is not a swimming area. There are 4 individual bathrooms with showers. The bathrooms were decent. I wish there was a more secure way to get into the park. Anyone can drive into the park as there was not a gate. One other things that can be improved is the gravel driveways for the campsites. Weeds have overgrown. When it rained the place was very muddy.

The park is clean and well kept, but the bridge construction destroys the peacefulness that would make this a great place to stay. We did not enjoy the ghost head burrs but the sites are widely spaced and well designed and mostly level.

Small park ' enjoyed being by the water. Park appeared to be well man tined. About hour from Waco.

We loved this park. Spacious spots and very well maintained. The gentleman at the gate is very friendly and welcoming! Our only disappointment was with the bathroom/shower facilities. There is no light in them and the ventilation is very poor. But we will return often.
