We stayed in 014. It is marked as tent only. This spot is great if you have a tent (shaded for tents), but it is also fine for truck campers (RTT) and camper vans. I think it is meant for pull in vs back in. We backed our six foot bed double cab truck in but it mightve taken a 7 point turn. It driveway had a slight slant to it but it is levelable. The view from this site is great! It would be even better if it was earlier in the season and the river/creek behind this site was flowing. Deb the camp host is great.

Despite it being Labor Day weekend, it did not feel crowded in the campground. We heard the live music from the lodge during the day on both Saturday and Sunday which added a fun vibe to the weekend. Our camp host, Donna, was terrific. She was there to answer any and all of our questions. The vault toilets were spotless! We headed to the Lodge early for dinner and lunch and took a hike up to Inspiration Point. Highly recommend both activities.

The site was clean, the restrooms were very clean and the camp host, Deb was a pleasure to meet and a friendly caretaker and host of the campgrounds.

Deb, the camp host, was exceptional. The vault toilets were pristine. So much better than the last few years I have camped here.

This was our first stay at this campground and it was excellent!

This is one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever been to. We stayed in site 2 which was right near the entrance. It was shady and there are wildflowers all over. Restrooms were extremely clean and well stocked. Close to the lodge/store/restaurant. We could walk to the lake and easily drive to a kayak drop off spot.

Amazing campsite, camp host, lake was swimmable, it was quiet at night, and the resort across the street was cute!

Lake Alpine is always great. Such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, not all of the parking pads are level, and, with an RV, that can be problematic. We had to raise one end our motor home a foot off the ground to make it level. Hoping they can address that for next year.

Awesome campsite, but the camp host is like from Gestapo. She left everybody without toilet paper on the 4 of July (embrace your dependence), and was very strict about everything for no real reason.

Camp was well organized. Great location. Neighboring campers were all respectful of each other and the camp host did an excellent job.

Camp host; Deb, is very helpful and friendly. (West Shore)Cafe has renovated the seating area wonderful views of the lake while dining or having a beverage from the fully stocked bar.The store has most anything you would need or want.The new bear boxes are a very nice addition. Plus it provides extra space for camp stoves.Take bug spray, as the mosquitoes were buzzing.The pit toilets were kept exceptionally clean by camp host

Due to booking issues we ended up in campsite #13, not 25. which was a blessing for us. either way, nice camp grounds, clean bathrooms, the Host was super friendly, great place!, VERY QUIET!!! (Almost to quiet) will definitely camp there again!

Fantastic campground. Location is very close to the lodge and to the lake. The views are beautiful and the campsites are large and fairly secluded. The lodge has a nice restaurant, bar, and store so if you forget anything you will have options! Firewood is reasonably priced. The days don't get too hot and the nights are chilly in June so bring layers and bug spray.
@Christoph76212 · Camped on Jun 9, 2025 at Campsite #9
Very easy to navigate the website and the information given about the campsites are very detailed and accurate.

Nice campground located near the lake and the boat ramp. Camp host was friendly and helpful if needed. The pit toilets were clean, but my visit was early in the season. Most all sites are unlevel so be prepared to use leveling blocks for your RV or trailer.

Very quite and wonderful campground. The lake and the mountains are beautiful. And Debby, the camp host is just a great.

Lake alpine is a BEAUTIFUL campsite perfect for a weekend away. It is quiet but has little shops on the drive there if supplies are needed. One thing to note is that there were many, many mosquitoes at this site. With that said, Debs was the absolute best campsite host! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the activities we could do around the area and did not hesitate to loan us some mosquito spray (since we arrived after the general store closed). Would 100% recommend!

Perfect time of year, end of season. Host (Sam) was very personable and accommodating. Camp sites and restrooms were clean. Great for tent camping and smaller rvs. Definitely will be back!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
