We stayed at Silver Valley Campground.... site #12. Open meadow, our 24' 5th wheel fit okay with leveling. Bathrooms were clean, and considering they were vault toilets, smelled nice lol Only complaint was people in 95 degree weather during the day, had smoldering fires. Been better to smell fresh air and the trees. Quick trip to get to Alpine Lake.... great kayak day!

For the past three years every time I go, there are loads of group campers making nothing but noise all day long and night you guys should ban outdoor music. Its not fair to others. Im not going there anymore.

We spent four nights at Silver Valley Campground at Alpine Lake. The campground is smaller than the others nearby, which is great and tends to be calmer. We were in site 13, which is in the inner loop, but not far from the water spigot, bathroom and trail down to the lake. It's about a 10 minute walk down to the lake from the campground. The facilities we kept very clean and it seemed to be very well managed. Our campground host, Joe (I believe), was friendly, welcoming and took good care of the grounds. This is a campground I can recommend and will consider staying again.

great campground. perfect for access to the lake. sites can be pretty uneven if you are sleeping in a trailer or in your car. plenty of flat ground for tents tho.

We just stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful time fishing and bike riding at lake. The restrooms and camping areas were clean and well cared for, Joe the camp host does a great job there.Had some good food at the restaurant and purchased some shirts and souvenirs at the store this is one of our favorite places to go camping.

Had a great one-night stay at site 20 at Silver Valley Campground. The bathrooms were spotless, host was friendly, neighbors fairly quiet and the site was comfy. The campground had been open less than a week when we arrived so it was likely cleaner than typical. I'm looking forward to returning!

This campground in general is nice because of its proximity to the lake. It is walking distance to the day use area and you dont have to pay for entering if you are camping. But site 20 is awful. Everything is overgrown, the ground is uneven, and there is no place to put a tent. I dont even think its suitable for a camper because the area by the picnic table and fire pit is overgrown. Luckily we got two sites for our family and had some cancellations so we were able to squeeze a camper van and 3 tents into site 19. We basically only used site 20 for the parking.

Always enjoy coming here. Camp hosts are on top of things. Only one bear but it was harmless. Inspiration point hike has some very good views and is a great hike. The lake isn't overly crowded. Will be continuing to come back.

The parking pads need to be smoothed and leveled.
@LucasB3EE82400 · Camped on Jul 5, 2024 at Campsite #20
Site 20 should be avoided. No shade, completely overgrown by weeds, and no obvious pads for a tent. Other sites were much better.

Need to have running water available. Forest service keeps putting off. Had to haul water to my camp site. Otherwise, fabulous experience!

The campground had unfortunately undergone a big tree cutting the week before we arrived, so several of the sites have very little shade and some deep divots from the construction trucks. We originally reserved site #8, but when we decided to change to something better. We also happened to booked during the Southern Cal tropical storm so it rained both days (in August) so we only stayed one night.

This is my favor Lake Alpine campground. It’s fairly small and quiet. Interior sites seem a bit bigger than exterior sites - choose carefully if you have a trailer (site 13 is great). Angel is an excellent host. Only negative is the vault toilets which are stinky but clean. We brought a toilet tent & potty which saved the day (highly recommended!). Showers at Lake Alpine Resort were slightly rundown but ok and somewhat pricy at $3.25 for 5 minutes.

Beautiful campground, so peaceful and clean. The host Angel was amazing, very helpful and friendly. My car battery ending up dying and he went above and beyond to help me get it started twice. He definitely takes pride in his campground and wants to ensure you enjoy your time there. This is my second time there and have had a positive experience both times.

Our camp host Angel was awesome. He was super helpful with everything we needed. Campsites and toilets were the cleanest I've seen in a long time. We had a great stay and can't wait to go back.

Campsite maintained and had a great hike to Duck Lake and caught trout from the shore of Lake Alpine.

It’s a frequently visited campsite and thus expect company. Good on services and excellent access to the lake; a really comfortable hike to duck lake beyond the range to the south-east

This a very nice campground but not right on the lake. Some sights are very tight for more than one vehicle such as a trailer and not very flat. Some sights are close together. Good for nearby fishing and water plat.

Nothing to complain about, no possibility of shower.

Had a fantastic time at Lake Alpine, Silver Valley Campground. The campground was clean and the camp host, Angel, was the best camp host we have ever had there. We have been camping there for over 25 yrs. Angel was so helpful to giving advise to the area and even helped someone start their car with jumper cables. Definitely will continue to go back here for our annual camping trip.

Never have issues at this campground. Different spot than we've had before, more in the middle rather than on the forrest edge, but had no issues. Some noisey campers but not over the top. We will be coming back to the campground as often as we can.

Toilet was kept clean.

My host at the Silver Valley campground was a young man named Angel. He was very helpful in helping me to find a suitable camp spot for me and my daughter. He made sure we were safe at the end of a day on the trail and addressed my concerns with other campers campfires and noise.
He was great. Also the man at the store was very helpful in helping us find an appropriate hiking trail and map for our excursions. Thanks to both of you.

Sincerely,
Debi and Katie

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
