Nice campsites with privacy and lots of room.The hike over the sand dunes to the beach is amazing.

Eel creek was a lovely campground and very close to the dunes. It was well kept and the spaces were nicely organized. There was even a pile of starter wood at each site to help get a fire going. The only suggestion I have is that in the bathroom (womans) there is no counter space to sit your toiletries on like a brush, toothpaste, etc. It had just a sink with a very small area around the faucet. There were also no hooks to hang anything on like a towel or washcloth. Putting in a counter area and some hooks for clothes or towels would be very appreciated. Thanks

Clean campgrounds and restrooms. The dunes are adjacent to most sites.

Site 27 is right near the bathrooms so we did not use it. Otherwise, excellent campground!!

Mostly private sites, good access to the dunes (John Dellenback trail) and small spots on the north side. Close to a lot of beaches, places to rent vehicles to go out on the dunes, and water (lakes and rivers for paddleboarding and kayaking). Camp host was great and mitigated some issues with questionable folks. Site 27 is right near the bathrooms, we booked it but did not use it!

Hike to the dunes to watch the sunset. It was so awesome. The view of the dunes and surrounding areas is amazing.

The campground itself was fair, but it was very close to the Oregon Dunes, which we really enjoyed.

The bathroom ran out of toilet paper on at least one of the days we were there. Other than that, everything was fine.

The campsites at this campground are fantastic. Most of them give your tent a lot of privacy. Basic services, but in a truly gorgeous setting. Great to spend the night and head the next morning of a walk across the dunes to the beach.

The main thing that stands out about the campground is its location on the edge of an incredibly beautiful range of sand dunes. We camped there is mid-May, and had the vast dunes virtually to ourselves on a walk in the evening and again in the morning. There was free wood for a fire in the large pit, and rhododendrons graced the perimeter of the campsites. Just beautiful!

The host really cares.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds with lovely, private spaces. Nearby, are hiking trails and sandy hills to climb.

There is no reason for this site to be advance registration only during the off-season. There was no one there. I suspect the campground would get more use if it was not necessary to book 48 hours in advance. In addition, there is no possibility of extending a stay because by the time I knew I might like to stay another night, the deadline for reservations had passed.

Great campsite. Clean toilets. Super nice hosts. We were the only ones there.

The only bad thing was having to leave. Everything was great. The camp hosts Aaron and Kari were super friendly and very informative. Beautiful location if you aren't riding on the dunes soooo quiet.My family and I will definitely go back.

Good, small campground with clean restrooms. Best part was the dunes hike trail (5-mile round trip) to the ocean shore!

Very nice private sites. Even a few with some sun (which can be a Great Thing on the Oregon Coast).

Excellent camp spot. There was a bear roaming, which if the camp host would have went around and told everyone, we would have brought our food bin in.

We were really disappointed in our stay here. There was something poured all over the ground near the picnic table and our dogs ate it and got really sick. We tried to scrape it up and keep them away as best we could. This should have been cleaned up from the camp host prior to our arrival. Also the mens washrooms were absolutely disgusting with feces all over the floor and it stunk like a portapotty. You could smell it from the outside. The only reason for not giving a 1 star is how easily accessible the dunes were for a walk and stargazing but we definitely wont return. Its priced very high for what you get. No showers, no hook ups & bathrooms that were disgusting.

Bathrooms were dirty and lacked toilet paper. Some sites were overloaded with extra people and cars.

I camped here 60 years ago as a kid. Still a good quick place to stay when traveling.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
