This is one of our favorite campgrounds with lovely, private spaces. Nearby, are hiking trails and sandy hills to climb.

Bathrooms were dirty and lacked toilet paper. Some sites were overloaded with extra people and cars.

Bathrooms were closed except you still get charged full price for camping. Also, no recycling area. Pretty ironic.

Love Eel Creek. Typically quiet. Great base for hiking dunes.

This was our 3rd or 4th time here, always off season or mid-week so not crowded at all. Host very attentive. Quick trip back to Coos Bay if you want to eat out or sight see. Training for a marathon? These dunes will give you a work out.

Very quiet with private table and fire pit area. Nice!
We had a pull thru space. 26' 5th wheel trailer would not pull thru. All but 1 space the pull thru's are too sharp and have trees that do not allow trailer to make curve. I am very experienced RV'r. Long back ins would be better.
Walk the dune trail.

Beautiful, quiet campground with flush toilets. Sites are large - many well separated by high salal and huckleberries. Easy walk to the Dellenbach dune trail and only a mile drive to Eel Lake for kayaking or fishing.

A TOTAL GEM! We enjoyed this park mid week during our Spring Break from Wyoming and had it all to ourselves. A far cry from what we are used to living near near Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Did the most spectacular dune hike right from the campground to the ocean. Spent our evenings up on the dunes watching the sunset over the ocean while the dogs romped in the sand. Location was fabulous, too, as we did many day trips to incredible locations up and down the coast during our 4 night stay.
