Really nice and clean campground

Great place to stay if you wanna surf the Oregon Dunes as the campsite has a 5 minute path to them! No showers, but does have flush toilets that are simple but clean. We did our laundry at an RV park down the road. Otherwise a good stop of one or two days.

Individual sites are nice and most have some element of privacy. Site 2 did not have a grate over fire pit which made using fire for cooking difficult. Bathroom was not well taken care of, unclean, unswept floor and waste baskets overflowing.

Eel Creek is great. Super close access to hikes on the dunes, like John Dellenbeck trail. It is clean, the hosts were good, and it was quiet even though it was close to Highway 101. The site we camped at, Site 2, seems like the best tent site in the campground. It is very private and has a little trail behind it that is great for kids to explore. Would go back, and reserve site anytime.

We came during a quiet but got there then realized we needed reservations online only. That was a bummer.
But thats the only negative thing.
It was private, had great hiking, pretty forest scenery. My thanks!
