Spinreel Campground is located in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA, Siuslaw National Forest (1 hr 30 min northwest of Roseburg, OR) with an elevation of 18 feet. There are a total of 36 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 27 and 61 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $25.00 per night. Some amenities include flush toilets. Activities include boating, ohv trails nearby, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

The location is great. Dunes access is perfect. Great group of campers overall. The grounds on the other hand were not kept up at all. Every fire pit was not cleaned out. The restrooms were closed every day for appropriate cleaning and restocking. However upon entering the ladys room just after said cleaning everything was just wet. Not cleaned in any way or fashion. Im not sure how it was possible for some of the yuck to get washed out but there it was everywhere. Maybe its time for a more capable camp host.

We have been staying at Spinreel campground for many years and have seen a definite decline in how the park is maintained! It makes us very sad! We only saw the host drive by one time on our recent 1 week stay. The grounds were in terrible condition. Our spots were far from being clean or picked up, I.e. trash in all the fire pits, paper and debris in all our spots, people parking their at s and side by sides in the grass areas and people not following the quiet hours! We recognize that there have been many job cuts but at least in the past the host checked in on a regular basis to see if there were any issues! This was probably are most disappointing trip ever! Also the wasps were out of control with multiple people getting stung! Individual campsites hung wasp traps to help but they were still lawful! Also one evening there were cars drag racing around the loop in the day use!! That was scary! We hope that this information might help to identify areas that need changing! We want to keep coming here but if this continues we may need to make other arrangements.

The bathrooms were the worst I have ever seen them. The camp hosts took out the trash, refilled the soap, and sometimes refilled the toilet paper. There was twice during the week we ran out and it didnt look like the toilets or sinks ever got cleaned or wiped down.

Very site dimensions and view pictures before selecting this campground. Lots of vehicles parked on the camp loop roadway.Awesome park!!

Restrooms were clean and always stocked. Camp Hosts are friendly and helpful. The campground is clean.

Just not as clean as other parks we had been to. Also some clearing needs to be done in some of the sites. My grandkids kept running into low branches

We love this campground, but there is now a homeless issue on dunes. Theirs is also thieves going through campground at nite as well as using the restrooms and leaving a mess. So be sure and lock or put everything away! So sad!!!!!

There is no privacy at the camp spot and the camp host was ok several dogs off leash that she stated she couldn't do anything about I will not be returning

Quiet site, great location next to the dunes, loved that you could take your ATV into town. Washrooms clean. No showers.

Fire rings are two feet tall but you can only build a six inch fire because it is full of ash has been this way for years.

I wish there were pictures of the campsites online. We were sadly surprised by an extremely small camp area. There needs to be better descriptions of the camp sites. The camp host was very very nice, couldn't have asked for a better host. There needs to be overflow parking as well.

My rv pad was covered with debris from the trees. I would recommend camp host to blow out rv pads prior to arrival. Camp host was nice, probably didn't have the appreciate tool?

The campground was mowed and tidy, the bathrooms were very clean. The Hosts were very attentive and helpful. Wonderful stay. -Bob
