The close location to Hume Lake makes it ideal for enjoying time at the lake. Bathrooms are clean.

Great experience. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. Site 65 was very near bathrooms and water. The camp felt very safe, people left their paddle boats and kayaks by the lake overnight. The lake was beautiful. Our campground was at an angle, but we found a spot for our 6 person tent. The rangers were very friendly. The Christian camp was a breezy 15 minute walk.they have a convenience store, ice cream shop, and food options.

The campground itself was very clean. The bathrooms well maintained. I loved our space. Very spacious ! Other than that, I would not return for several reasons. The main one being that there is a Christian camp across the lake and they are VERY LOUD, even at night time after quiet hours. If you are looking for a quiet camping experience, I do not recommend staying here.

Site 46 was large but hot. The bear box, table and fire pit are located in day long sun. It would not be doable without an easy up or other shelter. We had a resident chipmunk who was dropping pinecones on our site. It required vigilance as they dropped like bombs. They put holes in our easy up. Water & bathrooms were close and maintained.

Beautiful campsite on the lake! Big trees, cool breeze and the water is a short walk away (depending on your site). Our new fave place to camp!

Clear instructions, easy check in.

This site has partial shade and can fit two vehicles. 10 min walk to the lake ( Lake Parking fills up quickly). Summer camp was very loud - yelling until midnight. You can buy ice and wood there (5 min drive). No cell service. Bring your own soap for bathroom. :)

Great camp. We originally booked two diffrent sites for two days because of availability. The camp host was able to arrange for us to stay in one spot both days. The only issue was that the tent site was not too level.

Hume is such a beautiful place and the people around there are so kind.

It was so beautiful. We saw wildlife on the hill next to us. 4 deer for several hours, a hawk up in the trees, a nightly visit from a fox. The bathrooms were kept clean and hosts are very friendly.

The prior camper overstayed their visit, but the management took care of the problem. We couldn't find our marshmallow sticks but Andrea Galler offered one of her close hangers so we could make our smores.

We had a wonderful time camping at Hume Lake. Our site was perfect for 2 tents and close to a bathroom, water and had shade most of the day. Bathrooms were clean!

Loved our campsite. It was big with two bear proof food storage bins. I did have to clean up some dry bush to fit our tents but it was good. I was able to put one 15 person tent and one 5 person tent and there was still more room available so it was great. I had no bees in our camp site so that was great but I did notice other campsites did. The restrooms were maintained cleaned and our campsite was walking distance to the lake and we were so lucky to catch 10 fish to eat. Will definitely come back again. This is the second time we stay at Hume lake once in July and now in June and both times a thunderstorm came in the afternoon but luckily we were prepared and we covered our tents with tarps.

Such a lovely campsite! Grateful for our time there.

Great campsite but fully on a slope, which makes it a little hard to get up and down. Private enough but close to bathrooms so peoples lights shine kn tent

Always such a great experience. The campground is such a wonderful jumping off point for the Sequoias, the caverns, the drive to 'road's end' ... Our family has been coming for years and we always look forward to it. The general store and shake shack and boat rental at the neighboring christian camp make it a really complete experience (-: This year the campground was noticeably well maintained with pot-holes filled and clean bathrooms.-See you next year (-:

Wonderful area. Well-kept campground. Peaceful lake with no motorized boats.

The place itself is gorgeous. The sites are clean and the lake is gorgeous. Unfortunately we came here for some peace and quiet and there is a Christian camp next door that plays VERY loud amplified music. I went to this camp as a kid 30 years ago and it was NOT this loud. There was amplified music and cheering echoing in our site late into the night. One night it went to one in the morning. We will go back but now it wont be when we need to hear nature. We have a 3 and 5 year old so for context, we dont have high expectations for peace and quiet. This place is not good for quiet but great in other ways.

Love Hume Lake! The only problem was our campsite 59 was down a hill with potholes and not at all friendly to park.

Great camp host, beautiful site. Magical place.

Definitely loud from the camps but didn't bother us , sounded like fun. Big slope so your tent will be on an angle or hill and people cut through your camp to get to the road/paths early morning. Overall close to the lake and spacious . We liked it with our dog

Amazing. Ducks followed my wife because she is short. Pretty nice experience.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
