I stayed at Princess Campground (site 002) and it was absolutely gorgeous! Peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature exactly what you hope for in the Sequoias.One of the coolest features here are the massive tree stumps scattered throughout the campground a reminder of the history of this forest and a unique touch that makes this spot stand out. Site 002 was spacious, private, and perfectly tucked away among the trees. The whole campground felt calm and well-maintained, and at night the stars lit up the sky. If youre looking for a place thats quiet, beautiful, and full of Sequoia character, Princess Campground is a must. I cant wait to come back!

quite, clean and beautiful camp ground. we were group of 11 men and reserved three sites 15, 16 and 20. But when reached there realized that site 13 is a double site and almost triple the size of any other single. Hence we switched 16 and 20 with 13 and it worked out really well. Camp Host Jack was super helpful and accomodating. Site 13 is also just next to restroom as well as in front of water faucet.

Our site got double booked. My name wasnt on the sign when we came, and someone else was in our campground.

Great campground. For the most part, clean pit toilets until nasty people abused them. Short drive into beautiful Hume lake or Grants Grove. First time here but going to make an annual trip.

We ended up not being able to go and tried everything we know to cancel so we could get a partial refund but rec.gov says its the local that would give the refund and the local says rec.gov should get the refund so we guess were just out our refund. Kind of frustrating

This site was right next to our neighbors with no privacy there was even a pathway between sites so I mean if you were with a group thatd be cool but they were extremely loud and since they were like 15 feet away it was a long night. I wouldnt recommend this site plus it was very small we had to move the table just to fit out medium sized tent.

We have been camping in the Kings Canyon/Sequoia area for the last 50 + years and had never been to tis campground. To our amazement this was a hidden Gem and we were very surprised to see a campground that reminded us of the old school campgrounds that we used to see in the national park. The campground was built in a grove of giant sequoias that were logged probably over a 100 years ago and the stumps are located throughout the campground. The sites are very spacious and you can accommodate various tents and RVs. We liked it so much tht it will now be our to go place when we camp there.

The camp ground was well taking care of, The camp site was nice and clean and so were the toilets. Its is fire season so lots of smoke rolled in during the morning to after noon, rolled out in the evening.

The camp host is a two-member TEAM. Jackson and Crystal work extremely well together. The most notable item is that the restrooms are kept clean and smell Great!

Love this campground! Beautiful sites, nicely spaced over 3 loops. Fire rings and tables at each site. While the camping is "dry", faucets with potable water are conveniently spaced throughout each loop. The camp hosts for this season, Jackson and Kat, were very friendly and helpful, and kept the facilities, including the pit toilets, immaculately clean. Finally, the campground includes a fee-per-use RV dump station, which is very convenient.We've camped here for about 10 years, and will continue to do so in the future.

Beautiful campground. Site 33 was on a loop not used heavily by RVs, so no generators = quiet and peaceful. Sad that quite a few pines were killed by beetles due to global warming drought and had to be cut down. But, enough remain along with juvenile sequoias such that the forest is still beautiful. Lots of water spigots. 23 miles from Cedar Grove market and Roads End parking for high country trailhead. 6 miles from Grant Grove with a market and restaurant and visitor center. Princess is no where near as crowded as the campgrounds in Sequoia or near Grant Grove. The trail around the meadow new to Princess is very nice, but bicycles are not allowed. Good times.

Lovely spot. The restrooms ran out of TP, but we stayed well past check out so thats understandable. No service but the general grant visitor center (I think that was the name) was close and had free WiFi! Will def be coming back!!!

I really liked the camp site we had (73) location was excellent, bathrooms were very clean. I wish they had sinks to wash up but over all it was a great experience.

Beautiful location. Camping under the pines and cedars, but very dry and dusty in early August. Nicely situated between Kings Canyon and Sequoia sites/hikes as well as several in the National Forest. Sites in center are a little closer than I prefer as neighboring tents were pretty close.
@ShelbyL38007CA · Camped on Aug 2, 2025 at Campsite #87
This location was quiet, a perfect amount of shade, and very close to the bathrooms! There is a very beautiful meadow close by and a short drive to Hume Lake and the Kings Canyon Visitor Center, which has WiFi.

Great campsite, well shaded, close to both Sequoia and King's Canyon.

A very large group on the site next with music until very late in the night. No respect the rules and no one controlled

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
