Great place to camp. Beautiful location, good people.

Beautiful location. Our spot was great until the neighbors setup in a spot directly behind us. A member of their group set a tent up less than 10 yards behind our tent and snored like a BEAR all night. They had a yapping dog and a toddler as well that needed attention (temper tantrums not addressed). The Staff however was great. Easy to talk to.

Excellent location for proximity to King's Canyon, Hume Lake, and Grant Grove. Facilities were clean and well kept. Some of the campsites do not have enough shade, so it gets very hot in summer.

Princess is a wonderful campground. The restrooms were clean and there is a wonderful paved trail behind the Shining Cloud loop.

Amazing Camp Hosts.

Beautiful campground, but the flies in the bathrooms, karaoke party into the night and generally loud, rude neighbors, leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

It was a perfect camping weekend. I stayed in Yell and the car noise that some reviews complain about was just not an issue. Also facilities were well kept and the hosts were kind. Thank you!

Site#21 Excellent holiday weekend at a beautiful campground. First time camping. The grounds are well maintained, bathroom remained pretty clean(thanks Kat!) A special thanks to you three for making it a wonderful stay. We appreciated all three of you being so hospitable. Your knowledge and service was excellent. We will be back!

Great campsite with an awesome meadow hike on the campgrounds. Great location near Hume Lake and Kings Canyon. I really like this location and would recommend to others. Loved that they have a fire pit at the camp sites and you can buy wood from the camp host.

The 1 star is for Campsite # 50 itself, not the overall campground. Campsite #50 is absolutely TERRIBLE for trailers, despite the information for the campsite stating that trailers are acceptable. First of all, the area to park for the campsite is facing the wrong way in which you are supposed to come in on the loop. Then, the area for parking was too steep and uneven, and it was a downhill/uphill walk to and from the trailer to the picnic table and fire pit. On top of that, the website stated full shade but it is not full shade, the hottest portion of the day had full sun since they have been cutting down trees in the campground. The website needs to have recent, updated photos with plenty of photos for every website that includes both the table areas AND the parking area so campers know exactly what they're booking before they get there. We only stayed 1 night and then left because we weren't comfortable with our trailer being on such an incline in soft dirt, and the website had no photos of this when I booked the campsite months out. I would NOT recommend this campsite for trailers.

Great experience, thank you very much.

Larger, flat sites, some shade (careful if you depend on solar), bathrooms not too far. Dump station is expensive at $20, and we accidentally let it close, so had to pay twice. However, once we contacted Saniserv, they immediately refunded the second charge. Very pleased with the campground. Close to both parts of Kings Canyon, a bit of a drive for Sequoia, especially the southern end. Be aware there are only permanent outhouses. There are water taps around.

Princess is right in between the visitor and center and Hume lake so that was great. Lots of great trails before and after the campsite.

The campground was nice, friendly camp host. A beautiful location close to the national park. The sites were spaced out well and the pit toilets were spotless.

Outdid our expecatations. Campground was way more dispersed (positively) than expected. Had a lovely site in the forest, but still close (enough) to the highlights

We really enjoyed our stay here. If you are tent camping, research the sites; because some are great for tent camping and some look like they would be miserable. (We liked 19A) If you enjoy hiking, then the Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks Trail Loop is the one to do. I know most folks don't own a hiking umbrella, but I am telling you it's a life saver. If you want a full story and lots of pics, you can find it at slowesthiker.com under June 22nd "National Parks - My New Obsession." Happy trails!

Lots of trees, campsites have some space between them, quiet. Would camp there again.
@PattyK9624038 · Camped on Jun 12, 2025 at Campsite #36
Beautiful campsite, felt like sleeping at the edge of a forest with lots of tall trees and wildflowers. There were neighbors to either side, a decent distance apart, and the vault toilet, water and garbage bins were across the front but far enough thanks to a long driveway. Dont miss the loop around the meadow right by the campground, Indian Basin trail! Also recommend checking out Hume Lake nearby.

Location was perfect. Scenery was beautiful. A little dusty, but being close to the vault toilets was great for our disabled (wheelchair) son. We camped in a 25 ft trailer. We enjoyed Kings Canyon NP and the showers at Cedar Grove were great!

The campground was beautiful as usual. The only complaint I have is the camp host are very unprofessional. The way they dressed, their attitude when spoken to, lack of attention to the bathrooms (went all with no paper). Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return again.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
