Beautiful campsite, felt like sleeping at the edge of a forest with lots of tall trees and wildflowers. There were neighbors to either side, a decent distance apart, and the vault toilet, water and garbage bins were across the front but far enough thanks to a long driveway. Dont miss the loop around the meadow right by the campground, Indian Basin trail! Also recommend checking out Hume Lake nearby.

Place was beautiful, campground was big and clean. Bathrooms were okay.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Night curfew could have been more enforced. I recognize the air freshener in the bathroom and the staff driving around during the day but there was a lot of disruption and disorderly conduct in the night. I also could have approached the campsite host to make her aware but chose not to since I was leaving soon.

Our stay was great. Loved the cleanliness of our campsite and the bathroom. Found the camp host informative. Request for the Forrest service, some of the tree branches hang over the paved main road. We would like to in the future stay in campsite 47 however Im afraid we could damage our 5th wheel and or the trees.

Great experience, a great stopping point to get further into the park.

Our group loved princess campground! Its nice that its in between Sequoia and Kings Canyon, plus only 20ish mins from the grants grove area that has a store. Lots of shade and the sites are pretty spaced out compared to other places Ive been. Very clean pit bathrooms, but they were sometimes out of toilet paper. The meadow so close by is an easy highlight! Would recommend!

Nice campground. Totally full for the weekend but the campsite are spaced out. We liked it much better than Lodgepole.

It was the perfect location for a campsite (secluded, tucked into the woods, but also right near water and bathrooms), it had reliable amenities, and the site hosts were friendly and helpful. Princess' location in between Sequoia and King's Canyon also made it a convenient location for quickly accessing tons of fun spots in both parks.

Campsite was very peaceful and quiet. Our pitch was nice and level with plenty of shade with picnic table and fire ring, and a drinking water tap opposite.Everyone seemed to obey the quiet hours, and the camp hosts had plenty of firewood.Only downside was this site was some distance to the nearest store and trailheads, however that my be a plus if you want to keep away from the crowds.Some short trail loops through the woods start at the site.

Princess campground is very nice and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the campgrounds closer to the sequoia groves. There is no available water at this campground so make sure to bring enough for your stay. There is a beautiful meadow to walk around and only a couple of miles to Hume Lake. We had our own port-a-potty, so I cannot comment on the vault toilets, but I am never a fan of them so I come prepared. We stayed in spot #69, which was really nice and roomy. The area where your tent goes is in the sun during the day, but that's good to warm it up for the nighttime. Also there are couple of trees to hang your hammocks.

Nice campground, restrooms were clean, campsite was easy to get a 32 ft 5th wheel in. Camp hosts were friendly and doing a good job. We will be back

Beautiful campsite with lots of shade. The only downside is that you can smell a bit of the vault restroom from the site, not too pungent though. The site was relatively flat and we slept comfortably. Would come again!

The hosts were amazing and very helpful with everything. The bathroom were very clean. We hope they are the host every time we come. Thanks again.

Great campground overall, but this site is steeply sloped and doesn't have an easy or comfortable place to put a tent. The managers could move the picnic table to one side and create a much better tent site in doing so.
@PatrickW387339 · Camped on Jul 29, 2024 at Campsite #13
Grounds clean. Quiet. Staff friendly. Bathrooms clean. Close to Hume Lake. Be sure to have what you need because it is a drive to the general store.

Really nice campground - has the basic amenities (picnic table, fire ring, pit toilets and drinking water). Elevated by the natural beauty, nicely spaced trees, and cool sequoia stumps at many of the campsites. Our boys enjoyed crawling around on them. Some of the campsites are quite close together and noise can be an issue. The campground managers had firewood available for purchase, which we bought for the first night, but you can collect pretty much all you need if you go looking for it. There's a great 2/3 mile nature hike adjacent to the campground, and it's only a 10 minute drive from Hume Lake and the Grant Tree visitor loop - both of which were awesome.

This was the first time camping at this campground and will definitely not be the last. We stayed at campsite #41 for 4 nights it is conveniently located near the restrooms which were kept nice and clean throughout our stay as well as a spigot for water needs. We also loved that Hume lake is just a short drive away from here I would say 20 minutes or so.
@Oleksandr6FEB2 · Camped on Jul 20, 2024 at Campsite #87
Pretty big space, plenty of room for parking several cars or even trailer. Not far from water/toilets and far-enough from main road so it is silent at night. Toilets clean and free from smell. Very good experience.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
